Would've done 5 stars hade there had been better service and a head up on a 1 hour wait !! I have to say the food was amazing. Probably the best tacos I have ever had. I suggest more communication on wait time and this would've been a 5 star review
Stayed in Carlsbad on a Tuesday night during my trip to the Caverns and needed to find a place to eat at that was open past 9pm. Boy was I glad I chose Maria's. It's a food truck stand with a few picnic tables in front and a full bathroom to the side. When I arrived around 10pm, besides the group leaving, my party was the only one there. Delicious! Maria and her husband made our meal fresh. While we were waiting the smells were overwhelming my taste buds. The meal arrived and it was even better than anticipated!hot The refried beans had some whole beans, good idea. The tacos asada were freshly grilled. !Thank you, just what we needed to fill our bellies.
