“La comida acá es deliciosa y la gente son geniales. Pedí los tacos quesabirria y estaban perfectos.. El restaurante es bonito y limpio, con una gran selección de bares de salsa. Voy a volver cuando voy a estar en Carlsbad otra vez. The food here is delicious and the people are so great. I ordered the quesabirrira tacos and they were perfect. The restaurant is nice and clean and they have a good salsa bar selection. I am absolutely going to return when I am back in Carlsbad.“
“Enjoyable roadside haunt. I really enjoyed my Huevos Divorciados at La Patrona. Yes, I know it was lunch, but hey it was super good. I had asked for "Christmas" and got a nice amount of red and green chili on my food. I shared a "steak" taco from one of the family and used a tiny packet of "red sauce" to enhance the flavor. Boy, that red chili sauce was ear steaming hot! The heat didn't mask the flavor of the meat or the avocado in the taco... but I know where they got the inspiration for the steam out of the ears in cartoons now.“
“WOW! We were passing through while visiting some national parks and ate here not once, but twice! The quesabirrias and ramen are to die for! Also, the people there are incredibly nice! I would recommend this place to anyone passing through.“
