“The Rails, where have you been all my travels? This is THE local gem. I'm actually furious I didn't find it earlier in my time in Clovis. I was beginning to get very depressed on this business trip here. But now, I'm actually smiling! The wine list is perfection, and very reasonably priced (hi, Austin Hope way out here! Paso deliciously representing here!).Needless to say, the food is delicious. A++++. Best food in Clovis, and the only place to get wine. I only snapped a picture of the coconut cheesecake, which is just how like cheesecake - a little chunky, not too sweet, and perfectly balanced. I will be here every single night for dinner, and I hear they have brunch on Sundays. The building is a beautiful historic building dating back to 1907 - the oldest in Clovis. The bar is also beautifully designed, it is really such a pleasure to be here. The service really can't be beat either, everyone has checked in on me. I feel so special!“

“My wife and I went today and were extremely impressed by this little place. Tucked away on a side street near the Pawn City is an incredibly charming little hole in the wall serving up extremely authentic Mexican food and very tasty southern comfort food. The food was outstanding, and tasted unbelievably fresh and bright; my wife got a catfish basket, and it was the best fried catfish either of us have had. Not to mention the portion sizes are MASSIVE. I'm a big dude, and i was straight up stuffed walking away with a to-go box; and for $40 with tax and tip, my wife and I got essentially 4 meals, some good tea, and a huge slice of cake. The atmosphere is charming and uplifting, and it's run by the most personable lady with a very fine staff. If you're reading this and thinking of going, you should just go; at the BARE MINIMUM it's worth a shot, but I expect you'll be as pleased as we are. Just know that the menu is a little limited on Saturdays. Can't wait to go back already. Thanks to the owner for a lovely experience; you and your guys rock.“

“I have been to Red Door’s Taproom in Clovis twice before, as well as their ABQ locations multiple times. They are among my fave beers out of the Duke City. It’s nice to have relatively easy access to these brews only 80 miles from my home in the Texas Panhandle.I love the vibe of this taproom, as it is the food and beverage appendage of a bowling alley, an establishment that simply must have sustenance readily available. I have sat at this bar and imbibed on numerous froths from the Red Door collection. My only concern is that, while my brews this visit were certainly good, I learned that they now have a hard time actually getting Red Door beers, which are now apparently contract-brewed by Rio Bravo in ABQ. According to my server, they are lucky to ever have two Red Door beers at any given time. And so I quaffed my Red Door IPA, but then had to settle, if you will, for a hazy IPA from Santa Fe Brewing Company. Now, not to throw shade of that great brewery, it’s just that to round out their tap list, they have had to stir in brews made by others. All of which goes to say that the Red Door Taproom in Clovis has basically become a more generic taproom, with brews from numerous breweries. The beers are all good and that, but I suspect the days are numbered for this establishment to be named Red Door, especially with so little Red Door product. And that’s sad, because I like this place! I just want more Red Door Beer, regardless of whomever is brewing it for them. It’s that good.“

“It has been a hot minute since I’ve been to an Applebee’s and would always say no because I wasn’t impressed the last time I went. That being said I am so glad we went. The service was astounding. Super kind, friendly people. Attentive to our needs and watching our glasses to keep them full. The food was delicious and filling. Didn’t have to wait long for it either. I’ve seriously never been so impressed by an Applebee’s. Normally I’d top it with a blondie dessert but I was stuffed.“
