“My wife and I went today and were extremely impressed by this little place. Tucked away on a side street near the Pawn City is an incredibly charming little hole in the wall serving up extremely authentic Mexican food and very tasty southern comfort food. The food was outstanding, and tasted unbelievably fresh and bright; my wife got a catfish basket, and it was the best fried catfish either of us have had. Not to mention the portion sizes are MASSIVE. I'm a big dude, and i was straight up stuffed walking away with a to-go box; and for $40 with tax and tip, my wife and I got essentially 4 meals, some good tea, and a huge slice of cake. The atmosphere is charming and uplifting, and it's run by the most personable lady with a very fine staff. If you're reading this and thinking of going, you should just go; at the BARE MINIMUM it's worth a shot, but I expect you'll be as pleased as we are. Just know that the menu is a little limited on Saturdays. Can't wait to go back already. Thanks to the owner for a lovely experience; you and your guys rock.“

“Wow this food was awesome. I had the montado with asada meat. I've never had Mexican food like this. So tasty. Something in the seasoning I guess. Wish we had a place like this back home in FL. My son had tacos with barbacoa and he says the same thing. Google ratings really came through. I never would have stopped in this assuming local restaurant otherwise.“

The owners are super friendly and you can tell they put a lot of love and effort into each dish which guarantees you a great experience at all times without fail. They are in a great spot in the middle of town, which makes it easy to find and also have a lot of accessibility to parking. “Ordered a breakfast taco. Great food, but the service pushed it over the top. I was indecisive on what I wanted the lady taking my order patient and even offered suggestions. The gentleman and other lady making the food were happy and welcoming. They all seemed to really like their job. We were driving through, but will for sure be back on our return home. Thank you!“

“Best breakfast burritos in town, there are other burrito places and makers, but this place takes the trophy by far. Way to go, and thank you, Jalisco!December 3, 2023 update: The only thing that changed my view on this restaurant is that I ordered take out, menudo, and barbacoa tacos with sopapillas. The sopapillas had the old fryer oil taste, like the fries, and shrimp after taste. I'm not sure what day they change the fryer oil, but I was able to taste other items in the sopapillas. (Not good at all).“
