Just finished eating at Aly’s Sugar, me and my partner shared a full order of fish and chips and let me tell you the fish was the star of the meal! Freshly battered and hot, with fries and slaw! I was missing the tartar sauce but am not going to penalize them because the price of $17 for two generous portions of fish was well worth the missing condiment. I brought my own Cholula lol!
Been wanting to stop this place for the last 3 years and finally went through the area when it was open so I had to make a stop to give it a try. I am glad I did, the pulled pork and brisket plate was delicious. Ordered a burger as well and that it self was delicious. Love the pickled onions!! Was treated with hospitality, which is rare in this day and age. I will bring more people to give it a try. Such a good spot to stop at if you are traveling in between Taos and Santa Fe. The food is great and comes out fast. Nice shady area near the river to take a break and fill your belly. The sugar burger is where it’s at! One of the best burgers I have ever had! But the gyro also hits! Great food and great location!
