Always busy place in the morning. Food was ok this time not the best I've had but definitely one of my favorite spots in Gallup.
My family and i stopped here on a road trip. The host seemed nice but she seemed very distracted by our “future” server. After our server got our drink order, he decided to ask for my phone number! I mean, bold move respect it, but really? Overall the kid seemed like he had potential, just hitting on my girlfriend is unappetizing.
Rice needs improvement, no handicap facilities. Poor man in a wheelchair had to leave, I thought there was a law to accommodate disabled people
Food was spicy. Rice was bland, so papillas fantastic! No ADA bathroom facility.
So, I had three locals in Gallup and more people in Phoenix tell me to go here. There was a line full of friendly people, and the food was amazing and plenty of leftovers. It was only $15!!! Do you want Taco Bell for that much money, or do you want the real thing? That is my question for you searching for a place to eat in Gallup.
This is a local favorite in Gallup. It is solid New Mexican, but certainly not the best I've had.
We had the Mexican food. Wasn't for us. Hot sauce had good flavor but, really hot.
Authentic New Mexico cuisine! Got the stuffed soppapilla with red chile sauce yum
What a wonderful Cafe owned by a lovely family who are happy and give great service. They were busy with the breakfast crowd but we didn't mind the wait and our delicious food came really fast. My hubby said the coffee was very good. It was a treat to have sopapillas since it has been while. It's a very clean and well run business. 5+ stars from us traveling from Nebraska to Arizona. Stop in and enjoy it yourself.
Great service and best Stuffed sopapillas anywhere.

If you’re in Gallup, NM, and looking for a truly authentic dining experience, I highly recommend Jerry’s Cafe at 406 W Coal Ave! I came in hungry all the way from Houston, and Jerry’s did not disappoint in delivering the real taste of Mexican cuisine. The dinner was absolutely fantastic, with flavors that transported me right back to home-cooked meals. The red chili sauce was the highlight – it had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, making every bite memorable.
Service was impressively fast, and our waitress, Janelle, was exceptionally friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. I tried the large breakfast burrito, which came in generous portions and was loaded with authentic flavors. If you’re craving a genuine, hearty Mexican breakfast, this is the spot. Highly recommend Jerry’s Cafe for anyone passing through Gallup!

Best place to satisfy your endless craving, I will drive that 6 hours just to eat breakfast here with my kids and I. Jerrys breakfast burrito(ham, cheese, and green chili) with a iced tea OMG it is to die for...keep it up
Kid-friendliness: I forget the our waitress name but she's been there forever and she is the best, aside from the newbies who have attitudes, they wont smile or refill your drink without attitude.
