“Pretty much your standard Subway experience here. Very busy during lunch, and occasionally dinner. The line moves pretty quick, so that's a plus. Half the staff is really friendly, the other half couldn't give a crap beyond pushing your sandwich down the line and out of their station. I will say the biggest problems I have are the fact that they are always out of something and don't realize it. You run the risk of your favorite bread or a special ingredient being empty on the line, and they yell into the back for a person you're not quite sure exists, only to find out that you need to pick something else. Someone obviously used he last bit of a certain sauce or took the last cookie out of the tray, but it seems to be a big mystery as to whose job it is to put more in. Also, they tend to use the same knife over and over and over without any sort of rotation or cleaning. Those with any sort of allergy or dietary conditions need to understand that their idea of cleaning the utensils used to prepare your items is a casual scrape it two on the side of one of the trash chutes. That said, I've never had a bad experience or bad sandwich there. But you can't help but want a little more out of the experience.“
“If you're going to White Sands or passing through, stop here and get something, you won't be disappointed. The food is amazing, Bryan is such a warm, caring person, and you get a great view of the mountains. One thing to note, Byran is a one man show and he's popular, so you might have to wait for a bit if you get there and there's already a line. But don't be shy, talk to him, he's got some fun stories to tell and it's worth the wait!“
“We were recommended some other places from our hotel worker but when we were driving to those places we noticed a lot of cars here. It had old drive in vibes so we decided to pull in and give it a try. Being from out of town, we didn't know how to order. We walked inside the door and the server immediately handed us menus and said to have a seat outside and she would be with us shortly. She arrived promptly and took our order. We went for the burger combos. We got a hamburger and the Mayton burger and added green chilis. The food did take a bit to come out but the weather was nice so we just enjoyed our conversation and sitting outside. They brought the food to the table in paper bags along with our drinks. The fries were tasty and there were a lot of them. Wow! Yum. The burgers were great especially with that green chili. They were large and moist and for me that buttery Texas toast made it even better. Service was prompt and easy. Yes...we waited a bit longer than we are used to but that is just fine when you know they are making it all to order. It was a great find for our family and we will put it on our list when we travel through again.“
“I was very excited to see that LJS was still operating in Alamogordo after being disappointed when all the LJS in Colorado closed over 10 years ago. It's unfortunate that the building hasn't been updated in the 40 years I have been dining here, but Scott and his crew keep it so very clean, inviting and it doesn't have an old grease smell lingering in the air. It would be nice if corporate would invest in their own business. The food is cooked to perfection - weather fried or grilled, no matter what time of day! And without the compliment of excess grease that soaks through the box. I've never been a fan of hushpuppies, but OMGosh, theirs are soooo YUMMY!The employees are friendly, courteous, and truly appear to enjoy their work... which speaks volumes about their management leadership and training. I highly recommend dining here!FYI: The quality and taste of fresh food can take a little longer than driving through other fast food places; but, this LJS is so very worth a little extra wait time. Enjoy ?“
“This is the first time I've ever been to a Del Taco. It was everything I could have imagined and more. I wanna go back again so badly as there isn't one close to where I live. They add a ton of ingredients and they don't skimp on the cheese, it's awesome here.. order one of everything and invite me to dinner.“
“As a former Taco Bell employee, this is the only Taco Bell I've gone to in the past several years that got my order exactly right on the first try and made it how it's supposed to be made and how I would have made it without me even having to ask for it that way. For clarity, I always order a Nacho Belgrande (subsitute the beef with steak, extra steak, no beans, add guac). They made sure all the ingredients were evenly spread out, yet still identifiable. Everything was as fresh as it can be for Taco Bell. They got my order out super quick, even with them being pretty busy. I was just all around pleasantly surprised and hope this is the quality I'll get every time at this location. I'd definitely start eating at Taco Bell a lot more often if that's the case. What made me even more surprised is that I ordered on the self order kiosk. So I had no interaction with the employees (other than a friendly "hello" walking into the store) to give them special instructions on how I wanted my food beforehand. It just goes to show how far good training and keeping your employees happy goes. Everyone benefits and ends up happy. They should have the employees on the day shift here training all the other stores across the country. Seriously.“
“The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The place was clean.Their were only 2 people working that we could tell and they tried to make things as fast as possible but they seemed overwhelmed and overworked. Unfortunately this seems like a running theme in fast food places after “
“Bacon and cheese crispy chicken sandwich was amazing. Their Mac and Cheese is super good. If I would gain 100lbs and die of a heart attack I would eat this almost every other day. This is my second time eating from Popeyes and I must say was missing out. It's a good treat once a month or so. The one on base treat is right.“
