Nuckleweed Place Reviews
We did not know you needed a reservation and that it was a cash/check only restaurant when we showed up for dinner one evening. They kindly served us anyway and our family was very happy with the food. It was a unique experience, the restaurant is run out of someones home and was about a 25-30 minuet drive from where we were staying in Alomogordo.
I have no words that can equate to my experience at this Gem hidden within La Luz New Mexico. I chose from the lunch menu and enjoyed potato skins and my entree was the best country fried steak. That I can simply can only describe as an infusion of steam that left me wondering about the kitchen appliances in use. Bravo to the Nuckleweed Palace.

CASH ONLY RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. That said, get you some cash and make a reservation to eat at this literal down home, double wide manufactured house up a dusty hill beside a corral with horses. Reservations are required because they only use fresh ingredients with no waste. If you want fancy, high falutin, go somewhere else. But if you want damn good food in a warm and friendly place that the locals frequent, then this is your place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
