“We stopped one evening at Applebee's when traveling from Denver to Arizona. The waitress said there would be a wait, so we sat at the bar. I ordered a chicken and shrimp dish and the chicken came out undercooked. The bartender/waitress apologized immediately and sent it back. It didn't take too long for the order to come back with the chicken properly cooked - but the manager was there first with an apology and statement that he would comp the entree. Everyone was so gracious that we made it a point to stop there again on the way back. The food was good, but the thing that makes this place stand out is the service. The waitperson was excellent. The same manager was on duty, and I think he sets the tone for service at this location. My only regret is that I don't have the manager's name or that of the 2 people who waited on us. They were all great.“
