Maverick is a convenient gas station with friendly staff, offering cheap gas, breakfast, lunch, coffee, lottery tickets, slushes, and sodas. It is a popular stop for travelers heading to Elephant Butte, especially due to its location near the Amazon warehouse. Customer service is excellent, and employees are known for their friendliness and good communication. However, there have been concerns about the gas pumps not printing receipts, which can cause delays for other customers.
