“I go to Roma Bakery about once a week. Most of their clients are reoccurring customers from the nearby residential community, downtown workers, and law enforcement officials. The food and sweets are amazing with a decent variety. Whether it’s for takeout or dine in, it’s always a great experience. Oscar is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I’m particular when it comes to coffee and theirs is one of the best. You gotta try this place at least once. There is free street parking a couple of blocks away and paid street parking along Roma (not an issue for me as I walk there).“

We have now visited many times and tried numerous creations, including some of the vegan options. We always imagine her recipes being shared amongst family weddings and neighbors in Italy. It tasted like my Italian great grandmas came to my kitchen today, what a treat. Nothing was artificial or too sweet, the store displays looked fresh and overall lovely. “Trash bizcochitos that taste like sand. Way overpriced for average food. You can get the same quality in any Walmart bakery. Also the person who responds on Google decides that bad reviews must be lies. Call me a plebian with no taste if you can't handle criticism after 55 years in the business but don't pretend that there's no possible way someone couldn't like your dismal food so they must be lying. Go literally anywhere else for bizcochitos or coffee milkshakes or empanadas and you'll be doing better. If you just want to support local, you can't go wrong here.“

“I have had the Friday night special before and am ALWAYS impressed with the quality of the food, especially for such an amazing price! But I had never been for lunch or dinner so my daughter and I had a lunch date the other day. she ordered a BLT and I got the smash burger. Holy cow! my daughter's BLT was huge and she said it was delicious! She ended up taking half of it home because it was so big. My smash burger was one of the best I've ever had, and the green chile was perfection 👌 the fries were also hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. My daughter also enjoyed an Italian soda and she said to tell everyone to mix the peach and vanilla flavors together 😂 We will absolutely be back for dine-in service, as well as getting the Friday special. Sergio's is an amazing local restaurant that serves fresh, quality meals at astoundingly good prices!“

They were busy, so I expected a wait but it was soooooo long, and they run out of the popular ones so quick I would think they'd prepare a bit more. “I stumbled across this bakery while researching restaurants in the downtown Albuquerque area. I bake a lot of bread at home and saw that one of the breads made at Bosque was Green Chile Sourdough. I was hooked and stopped in to purchase a loaf. Very glad I did as it is excellent! I had to wait a couple of days to try it as I was traveling. Well worth the wait! Now of course I have to figure out how to make it myself as I live in the Pacific Northwest and it’s just too long of a commute. I’ll have to whip up a batch of Green Chile Stew and serve the bread alongside. I hope to get to the Bosque bakery again soon!“

“I have lived in the area for four years and have never visited. I finally dropped in this week to order a sandwich. Unfortunately, they stop serving sandwiches after 5 PM. However, they were super gracious and offered me a generous sample of bread with delicious honey butter. I purchased their blue ribbon, blueberry coffee cake, which was reasonably priced as as well as delicious. It was frankly the best pastry I’ve ever had in the city. In addition to their friendly service and delicious bread and pastries, they also have a great selection of mustard, honey, as well as pancake mix and all sorts of other goodies. I will definitely be back for sandwiches at a reasonable hour. I highly recommend this place.“

Everything was hand delivered to the house the night before Thanksgiving and everything so far has been beyond delicious! The pies were gluten free, too, and we are loving everything. Valarie assisted my wife, answered all her questions, and provided top-notch customer service. Further, and this is what prompted this review, is that Brittainy gave a listening ear while my wife was being assisted. She patiently and attentatively listened as I told her of my woes at another bakery across town, and about the importance of customer care and satisfaction. As I related my story to her, though above and beyond her job description, Brittainy listened with attentiveness and courtesy. “Giving this 5 stars to help raise their score. I don’t get why it’s so low! For years I’ve gone to El Dorado Bakery on Broadway for the menudo, so naturally seeing the much lower score of El Dorado #3, I was very hesitant to try it. However, The Broadway location is a 20 minute drive and the one on Coors is only 5 minutes! And when you’re hung over, the shorter drive is better! I tried their menudo and flautas today, and both get a 4.5 out of 5 in my book! This has been the only place that does flautas right and even has a potato option! Their salsa was the best I’ve had in town! It def tasted like Chile de árbol and red tomato flavor without the usual tomato paste flavor that other salsas in ABQ tend to have. The menudo could be spicier for me but the flavor def made up for the lack of spice. Excited to go back and try out the rest of the menu. My order was to go so don’t expect the cute yellow bowl in my pic ?Also, there was a woman singing Yolanda Del Rio covers so that’s a win win win for me! Oh and yes, the bread was bomb. Come on now.EDIT: To address the customer service issues from previous reviews...service when I went was super fast. The lady that was singing only sang 1.5 songs while I was there and BOOM, my order was up! The music was way too loud and I had to shout my order to the cashier..but I would still go back lol. Hoping they read this and lower the volume on the speaker. Also, the restaurant was super full and I still got my order in under 10 minutes.“

I gave inspo photos and some direction but ultimately we left it to the artist. This was not a mistake as she knew the assignment! My only regret was not ordering extras.
