“Visited Sadie’s on Fourth Street on November 16, 2024. We live in Oklahoma but come to Albuquerque/SF annually to eat Mexican food. Sadie’s is a favorite. Had the best waiter ever. I believe his name was Jerry - he was wearing a hoodie. He’s the best waiter we’ve had in a long while. Combination Plate lunch special was the best.“

Checking in to the restaurant was fine, but getting seated took quite a while as no one was at the front desk to help the one person there. More personnel need to be available to seat guests.“

We have now visited many times and tried numerous creations, including some of the vegan options. We always imagine her recipes being shared amongst family weddings and neighbors in Italy. It tasted like my Italian great grandmas came to my kitchen today, what a treat. Nothing was artificial or too sweet, the store displays looked fresh and overall lovely. We tried 4 different items today, all 10/10! Highly recommend.“

“We had a great experience with our afternoon tea. All the food was delicious, and the afternoon tea was very affordable compared to some of the other local options. Service was wonderful, and it was a great time.“

Go literally anywhere else for bizcochitos or coffee milkshakes or empanadas and you'll be doing better. If you just want to support local, you can't go wrong here.“

The pho was well prepared and the broth was quite tasty, but I would have preferred a larger portion for the price (I got a "large", it was just under $14 for the bowl before tip), the extra large was $16.95 before tax or tip, and am glad I didn't order it with such a gap in price between the 2 sizes considering that their "large" was what I'd call a medium at best.
Still, it was tasty and fast, the service was gracious and the atmosphere was mellow.“

“Update 2024: My now-husband and I still absolutely love this place! The lime beef appetizer is divine, and pretty much everything we ever try here. It’s legitimately the best Vietnamese food in town, consistently!

2023 review: My fiancé and I frequent this restaurant because they’re consistently delicious! We always get the rare beef pho, mine with steamed vegetables, his with extra lime. The broth is delicately spiced and doesn’t need any sriracha or hoisin sauce, though we add a little for extra umami. Their pork and shrimp spring rolls are delicious, especially if you order the peanut sauce. We also like the wontons and egg rolls. I’m sure there are other wonderful things on the menu, but the pho is something I literally crave, even in the heat of summer. It’s THAT good.

Parking: Private lot with plenty of parking, just looks sketchy (but nothings ever happened to our vehicle)“
