So far we've eaten here a handful of times and we haven't any complaints. I've only had the swiss mushroom burger and the charbroiled chicken sandwich which the chicken was substituted with fried chicken per our request. Both were delicious and I'll definitely order again. For the price of what you'll spend to eat a full meal at McDonald's you can eat at Mark's grill and feel better and full with real food. All of the waitresses are friendly and helpful. I don't hate this place. I'm disappointed that I have had tummy issues after the last two times I've been there and it doesn't help that I ordered the same thing as usual. The service is good and my husband and I enjoy the atmosphere. I just don't understand why I have had tummy issues twice in a row when I always order the same thing. Guess I'll have to try something different which is difficult when I'm gluten intolerant. Life will go on.

We enjoyed a traditional Portales breakfast here. Visiting from NY, we are loving the Mexican influences and our breakfast was amazing! There are some TVS for the sports folks but honestly, it just felt like we were invited over to "Mark's" house for breakfast. Nothing overwhelms, all ages seem comfortable and happy. Service was perfect! I'll be back
