“I go to Roma Bakery about once a week. Most of their clients are reoccurring customers from the nearby residential community, downtown workers, and law enforcement officials. The food and sweets are amazing with a decent variety. Whether it’s for takeout or dine in, it’s always a great experience. Oscar is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I’m particular when it comes to coffee and theirs is one of the best. You gotta try this place at least once. There is free street parking a couple of blocks away and paid street parking along Roma (not an issue for me as I walk there).“

We have now visited many times and tried numerous creations, including some of the vegan options. We always imagine her recipes being shared amongst family weddings and neighbors in Italy. It tasted like my Italian great grandmas came to my kitchen today, what a treat. Nothing was artificial or too sweet, the store displays looked fresh and overall lovely. We tried 4 different items today, all 10/10! Highly recommend.“

“Trash bizcochitos that taste like sand. Way overpriced for average food. You can get the same quality in any Walmart bakery. Also the person who responds on Google decides that bad reviews must be lies. Call me a plebian with no taste if you can't handle criticism after 55 years in the business but don't pretend that there's no possible way someone couldn't like your dismal food so they must be lying. Go literally anywhere else for bizcochitos or coffee milkshakes or empanadas and you'll be doing better. If you just want to support local, you can't go wrong here.“

They were busy, so I expected a wait but it was soooooo long, and they run out of the popular ones so quick I would think they'd prepare a bit more. Everything was hand delivered to the house the night before Thanksgiving and everything so far has been beyond delicious! The pies were gluten free, too, and we are loving everything. “We got there just before closing and it smelled delicious. The owner was putting things up for the day but brought out the pastries for us to pick from. We bought the cross between the croissant and blueberry muffin, cinnamon roll and pistachio croissant. They were all so good and Shawn was a remarkable business owner. Even if you have to go out of your way, if you are any where around Albuquerque stop in Old Town and get a delightful pastry made from one of the best pastry chef around. I cant wait to go back. Flying RoadRunner Bakery rocks.“
