“Old fashion friendly service. Greeted as soon as we walked in, even while taking care of other customers. Our 2 year old got gifted a cookie for existing and that made his day. Appreciated the welcoming vibe for the kiddos.

Food was worth the money. Everything’s expensive now a days but the portions are worth the money.
Enjoyed the chicken burrito having Spanish rice vs plain rice- what a unique surprise.
The 5th street Cubano was great. Homemade bread and you can tell. Pickles and spinach in every single bite! Huge plus considering a majority of places skimp on the fixins.

“There's always a line before 10 am, small wonder, Kelly's pastries are ... what every tale you've heard about a pastry should be. Every week is a new menu, every week is a celebration of the most delightful pastries you will ever eat! My only complaint is now she's ruined me for any other bakery, if it's not the witching flour's pastry...why bother... others are as if you ordered filet but was delivered a mcD's hamburger.“

“I called around to 10 different bakeries yesterday and they all were booked. No one could make my son a cake for his 3rd birthday party. I went into ABQ Sweet Spot and they saved they day!! “My family chose A Heavenly Taste for our first grandchild’s baby shower. I had purchased a special bundle which came with a variety of desserts perfect for the dessert table. I gave inspo photos and some direction but ultimately we left it to the artist. This was not a mistake as she knew the assignment! My only regret was not ordering extras. “I have lived in the area for four years and have never visited. I finally dropped in this week to order a sandwich. Unfortunately, they stop serving sandwiches after 5 PM. However, they were super gracious and offered me a generous sample of bread with delicious honey butter. I purchased their blue ribbon, blueberry coffee cake, which was reasonably priced as as well as delicious. It was frankly the best pastry I’ve ever had in the city. In addition to their friendly service and delicious bread and pastries, they also have a great selection of mustard, honey, as well as pancake mix and all sorts of other goodies. I will definitely be back for sandwiches at a reasonable hour. I highly recommend this place.“

“Cannot recommend this business enough for wedding cakes!! We just got married May 9th and from the tasting to figuring out what we wanted, it was such an enjoyable and seamless experience! Johnny is fantastic and was a joy to work with! Not only is it an awesome family run business, they also have a tasty deli next door where you can grab a sandwich after your cake testing (if you have room!). The cake was stunning and so tasty, and plus you get a one year anniversary small 6” version of your wedding cake so that you don’t have to worry about freezing-amazing!!!“

We host quite a few events at work, and Rise and Roast has become our go to for crowd‑pleasing donuts and coffee and they never disappoint. The donuts are consistently fresh, creative, and downright delicious (they disappear fast every single time), and the coffee is the perfect pairing to keep everyone happy and energized. What truly sets them apart, though, is the service. Ian always delivers promptly even on short notice and does so with a smile and a great attitude. That kind of reliability is priceless. On the occasions when I’ve picked up orders myself, the entire team has been incredibly gracious, welcoming, and attentive. “This place was incredible. In the day this location seems to be like a café, but in the evening for dinner, this place turns into a nice intimate restaurant. 10 out of 10 for the drinks. Nine out of 10 for the food. Perfect place for a date night or simply having a good time. Definitely would come back. Highly recommend a reservation. Also in a cute part of town.“
