This is for Bar lounge, not restaurant seating. The bar lounge has been hit or miss over the years. They brought back the full happy hour menu again (after chopping it down for a bit) and Will and Eli are much improved in the staffing. I think problems before we’re mostly because it was different bartender and servers every time, usually grumpy ones. Just need to keep the good ones. Great space and I love Heritage properties in general.

Hotel management needed. Was looking forward to drinks and small plates in the Agave lounge next to the fireplace. We never received any service. Restaurant/Lounge was only about 25% full. Left disappointed.

Dinner at Agave was a pleasure! (I don't understand the poor reviews unless a new chef has been brought in.) it was a snowy night and our seats by the wood fire was welcome. The restaurant was open, inviting, comfortable and QUIET! (I wear hearing aids, so the quiet was VERY welcome; I didn't have to strain to hear our table conversation.) The recommended cucumber serrano margarita was very good, as were the sweet chili-garlic shrimp with chorizo and the prosciutto asparagus. Our table ordered mains of green chili hamburger (from the bar-just ask), the roasted Chilean sea bass and the very tender kurobuta pork chop. We shared bites. Yum! Everything was delicious, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. Our server Ron was friendly, had a good sense of humor, and was attentive. Welcome was the free valet parking for hotel and restaurant guests, and-sorry to mention this-but the bathroom had seat covers; hurrah. (Coming from California where the law says they must be provided, it's a rare pleasure to find them in New Mexico.) Altogether, a wonderful time, a wonderful meal, and we will return. Soon, I hope.

Went for happy hour. Bartender was friendly and professional. Had a great margarita. Happy Hour flat breads were ok. Mine had a soggy bottom ?.

Ron from California was an awesome server, and we were excited to get a real person instead of someone who didn’t want to be there. Food was delicious and portions were big. Tomato basil soup was top notch and was full of fresh ingredients. Steak was wonderful. Mark the hotel manager came and talked to us as we were leaving. He is a great guy that started from the very bottom. 5 stars all around

Had dinner there last night! Excellent food & service! I ordered the pork chop; it was cooked perfectly! My husband had the ribeye; he loved it. We would recommend to anyone who loves incredible food!

So, we went here for dinner during restaurant week to try it for the first time, and right in the beginning they said they were not serving the NY steak that was on the restaurant week menu, because they didn't have it, now if you are part of the restaurant week and this your one time to make a first impression, already you missed the mark. So, reluctantly we ordered the halibut which came out dry, and rubbery, so it was either over-cooked, or re-heated and not made to order. Very poor quality in my opinion. The wine, appetizers, and desserts were all average. My guess is they need a good manager to fix the restaurant and kitchen, and hopefully they will improve over time.

Nice place but not great cuisine. Egg whites were served raw and inedible. Breakfast was comped but if I wanted free a meal I would have skipped it altogether. Unnecessary stress on vacation.

Green Chile Cheeseburger and bloody Mary on New Year's day both very good. Service ok but a bit slow (probably because it was New Year's) nice courtyard but otherwise feels like a basic hotel restaurant atmosphere wise.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Agave. The customer service was horrendous, and frankly unbelievable for a Heritage property. My food was severely overcooked and all I expected from the front of the house was a simple recognition that the kitchen had erred. While the restaurant did not charge me for the meal, the dining experience was sub par and , therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The quality of a dining experience is measured by the quality of the food and of the restaurant's customer service. While the food was fine, the dining experience suffered from the horrendous customer service. There are better places to spend your time and money in Santa Fe!
