I absolutely loved everything about Casa Chimayo. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and charming. We were immediately welcomed in. And, the food was out of this world delicious!! We both had the rellenos and they were so flavorful!! Absolutely going back!!

As longtime Santa Feans, this is one of our favorite restaurants. You know you’re in a family-owned restaurant from the moment you enter. The physical spaces are authentic & charming, the service is always excellent and the food is wonderful. We dined there last night with great friends and all was exactly as expected
. Superb! We love to support the owners, who make sure all feel welcomed and satisfied. We’ll be back again soon.

This is a MUST stop if you are ever near Sante Fe. Everything was delicious...from the margaritas to the ceviche to the entrees (the blue corn crab enchiladas...smokey black beans...yummm) to the flan for dessert. Do NOT pass this place up. And the service was wonderful. So glad we stopped in!

Much better service and ambience, pacing, than the 2 other high end restaurants right on the Plaza that we visited. Honestly, the food at at casa chimaya was equally good if not better (more unusual options, spiciness didn't overwhelm flavors) and a lovely value for what we paid. Gluten free food and dessert options plentiful. Worth the Call for reservations (must have them!! They dont use open table/online reservations) and walking the couple extra blocks off the Plaza.

Food was amazing. The staff was great. We did a twelve day road trip through New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and Colorado over Christmas Break. This was one of my favorite meals on the whole trip.

Go now. Family-like atmosphere and staff taking care of everyone. Food was fresh, delicious, and special to experience heritage dishes. Was so good, we came back the next night! The walls were full of stunning watercolor paintings and the more you look around the more you see the personality of this family restaurant they are sharing with you. Cheers.

We came here tonight and we did not leave disappointed! Hubby and I shared table side-made guacamole and crab cake. So delicious! The margaritas are top notch. Hubby had the combination plate with green chile and I had the chimichanga w/chicken smothered in Christmas. It was an amazing experience!

This was a great find! We enjoyed the queso fundido with chorizo and the elote corn, which was amazing! Our server recommended the blue corn blue crab, which was absolutely delicious. Everything was well prepared and served quickly. It hit the spot!

Amazing experience. Our family had a late lunch on Christmas Eve and had the loveliest time. Everyone’s meals were wonderful, delicious and full of flavor. The staff was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Drinks were excellent. Fantastic margaritas, not too sweet but still flavorful. Don’t pass this place by and be sure to order their specials, the blue corn huarache or the pibil. You won’t be disappointed!
