I want to like this place but it's such a near miss. There just aren't enough food options and the BBQ is pretty awful. It's easy to drop serious cash and not feel good about it. I wish we could get something more robust like they have in Albuquerque. I hate leaving bad reviews, but hopefully they will do better.

My husband and I went for drinks and when I ordered the bartender said to me (right in front of my husband) "Your drinks would be free if you were single." Thank God my husband didn't catch it because he would have ripped this guys man bun out!The audacity and complete disrespect was enough for us to never return!Women BEWARE!

Stopped into Chomp Food Hall to get Wild Leaven bread and pastries this morning. Real relaxed place with many options right next to Ohoris Coffee in Santa Fe.

The bar manager with the man bun is by far the most unprofessional, narcissistic, person I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The concept of the bar is amazing! 5 stars. But the management and service are horrendous.

This bar is poorly managed. The bartender, who I later found out is named Joe, was outside smoking when we came in and a customer sitting at the bar had to go get him to let him know there were people waiting to order drinks. He still didn't come in right away and when he did he chatted with someone by the door for a minute before coming over to place our order. He was visibly intoxicated or high on drugs. He moved very slow and had delayed speech. We weren't sure what we wanted and asked for a drink menu and he then said that if we didn't know what we wanted he was going to go finish his cigarette and tossed us a ripped, stained piece of paper with a list of drinks and walked back outside. So we left. But not before asking the pizza guys what his name was. It's Joe. AND HE'S THE MANAGER!!Horrible service. Very unprofessional! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The Good: The service at Santa Fe BBQ was very good. A member of our party went to the counter to ask for the meat she ordered on her baked potato that was missing (mistakes happen, not a problem) and the staff immediately corrected the situation and apologized. The loaf of Sourdough bread I purchased at Wild Leaven Bakery was AMAZING!Purchased some assorted cheese from Picnic NM Cheese & Charcuterie and was very impressed. The Bad: Loaded Mac & Cheese at Santa Fe BBQ was very overpriced for the amount of food I received at Santa Fe BBQ. At best, my meal was "okay".Loved the atmosphere at Chomp and will be returning to try the other offerings.

I won't be back. Yes, it's conveniently located within walking distance of at least a couple hotels but there are so many good restaurants in town. The "barbecue" was... edible, but that's about all I can say. And it could have been warmer. The pizza, when it finally came out, was decent but it took a really long time. I got the impression that delivery orders might be taking higher priority. There is a free water station but when I ordered barbecue the guy didn't mention it and sold me a water bottle instead. We needed some silverware and I went to the pizza counter and asked for forks and knives and they only had one knife for our family to use. Overall the vibe I got from employees was "just get through the shift." I can see this being a fun hangout place for a group of college students if high-quality food isn't a priority.

Although the food hall is an agreeable environment with clean surfaces and well controlled volume, the "Santa Fe Barbecue" joint, which chomp shamefully harbors, is not only a disappointment, but a misrepresentation and disgrace to Barbecue. The flavors are lackluster and forgettable, the menu is limited, and the presentation is uninspiring-- all of which I would be willing to overlook if it weren't for the measly portion I was served. For a $14 ticket, I received not more than 1/4 pound of dry baby back ribs with a reserved drizzle of syrupy barbecue sauce, and a two-by-four tin of fossilize and cold Mac and cheese. Cleanliness and hygiene are also an unquestionable concern to anyone with culinary standards or general dislike of germs in their food. I regret giving this establishment my business.

If I could give 10 stars I would. We rented the upstairs space for a party late last year and found the service provided by the owners to be outstanding. They went out of their way to help us make our event go smoothly.

Worst service at the bar. The manager or whatever with the man bun was super rude and beyond unsanitary at making beverages. Had a huge line and took his time throwing stuff and talking to other employees. Worst costumer service at bar. -10/10 DO NOT
