Dinner For Two Restaurant in Santa Fe

This place was a VIBE and we loved it! We were told we must go there for happy hour. We arrived and ordered drinks that were amazing. The small plates looked so good, but since we had dinner after we only ordered the Wasabi Crab balls- which were great. Would reccomend!

The restaurant has a wonderful Caesar salad prepared table side. It was good, not spectacular, no options to add a protein. Walking into the restaurant you were greeted by dirty buss trays, you need to move that around. Bad first impression. Edward was our server, he did a good job. I was only drinking water, and my water glass was empty a couple of times. 18.00 for a cocktail 😳 Good $10.00 happy hour prices, between 4pm and 6pm, only at the bar, I do believe. We had the table side Caesar salad, good but not spectacular.
Also had the strip steak, nice to see it was served with two sides, a starch and a vegetable, again not spectacular. Also had the veal picatta, it was ok, but pedestrian, again nice to see it was served with a starch and a vegetable. An appetizer of bay scallops with linguine is was our third dish, again, pedestrian. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice, super comfortable dining chairs! The dirty busses trays at the entrance was a real deal breaker for me. Move things around! Free parking down the street, bonus! It was expensive. We passed on the table side bananas foster, 25.00 for a dessert, no thanks! I don't think I would go back. The outdoor patio was closed, but it looked like a nice space!

Food and atmosphere was amazing. Service not so much.. Jose our server didn’t seem happy to serve us and irritated when we had questions. All the other staff were very welcoming. Jose definitely missed out on a good tip. 🙂👎🏻

We came for the first time on Valentine’s Day, and we will absolutely be back. Perfect portions, flavors, drinks, and service (Clayton was amazing!!). Highly recommend.

We had a lovely evening at Dinner for Two. The atmosphere was cozy, quiet, and perfect for conversation, creating a relaxed and intimate dining experience. The lighting was a bit dim at times, but it added to the overall ambiance.

The drinks were excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The focaccia was especially delicious, and we enjoyed the crab wasabi balls, though we wished the portion had included four instead of three for easier sharing.

The menu features classic dishes. My veal piccata was flavorful (slightly salty), and while the asparagus was a bit undercooked, the overall meal was enjoyable. We also noticed a small mix-up with the truffle frites.

We finished with a key lime pie topped with what tasted like homemade whipped cream.

One thing to notice that the parking is quite difficult if it’s busy. We ended up parking in a parking lot a few blocks away because we couldn’t find any street parking.

Overall, a charming spot with great service, wonderful drinks, and a warm atmosphere.

My husband took me here for my birthday while visiting Sante Fe. Dinner For Two was amazing. The food and the service was excellent. I had the Filet Mignon and my husband had the ribeye and lobster tail. The steaks were cooked exactly how we asked. (So juicy and flavorful) The drinks were good. We also ordered the table Caesar salad and the Banana Foster for dessert, both made the experience a 10/10. Eli was our waiter and he did a phenomenal job. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Sante Fe ❤️

Out-of-towners...found DinnerForTwo to be an oasis! Welcomed as soon as we came in the door. Had a reservation and was immediately seated. Eli was our waiter and he was very good. Checked on us regularly throughout the night. Had the Caesar salad table side. The homemade dressing and fresh baked croutons were superb! Finished the meal with the bananas foster! The salad and bananas foster prepared table side are excellent and make the dinner experience! 10 outta 10, we recommend!

This is such a cute spot! Hubby and I went for date night and had steak, lobster, truffle fries, and the steak tacos for an appetizer. Everything was delicious. The staff was great, attentive and friendly. The bananas foster hit a special part of my soul it was so good lol.

One thing I didn’t like is we were seated at this back corner table. It felt cramped and the table side service for the table beside us ended up in our space and I didn’t enjoy that. Also, the table cloth was long and kept getting caught on my legs so I almost ripped it off the table anytime I got up.

Recommend checking this place out. Just don’t sit in the corner table.

Probably one of the top ten dinner experiences we've had. O had the sampler and my husband had a steak and both were suburb. The table side bananas foster was sooooo good.

Thoroughly underwhelming. I haven't been here for 8 years, and I now remember why. It's just nothing I want to eat on the regular. The „famed“ table dice Cesar was not at all that. Too much garlic, no real Cesar dressing. My sampler dish you'll have come from the frozen section of some grocery store. We had a good time with friends, but the food was not part of that for me.

Loved this awesome (what feels like a) hidden gem! Happy hour specials are perfect. We had wings and crab Rangoon and both were great! Cocktails are a must and those specials were awesome too.
