Had very high expectations coming in and unfortunately I felt it mostly missed the mark. It wasn’t too busy but our food took forever to come out. We both ordered tacos. I got the carne asasa tacos and the meat was incredibly tough and at times uneditable. Which is a shame because the tortillas and the sauces that came with it were outstanding. Ah, El Callejón — the mirage of Santa Fe. After a scenic 20-minute pilgrimage through heat, altitude, and spiritual yearning (read: hunger), we arrived at this highly-reviewed oasis… only to find it closed.
Google Maps proudly displayed “OPEN,” which apparently meant “open to interpretation.” The place looked beautiful inside, like they were hosting a private mezcal tasting for the gods — or at least for people who don’t rely on peasant tools...

Not really a place to eat. Though the food is pretty okay, it’s a bit too pricy.
