Fajitas and tamales were so great that I went back for seconds! Right next to Santa Fe plaza with always something entertaining going on. Recommended.

The best fajitas I’ve ever had. $7 bucks can’t beat the price. They do take cards.

The perfect place to grab food while in the Plaza! The green chili chicken tamales were fairly mild, while the red chili pork were much spicier. Both were delicious! And a very fair price for handmade tamales.

We found them at the Plaza in Santa Fe. After a discussion of where to sate our appetite with a late lunch we decided to hit up the cart. They were out of the red chile pork tamales so we settled on the last two of their green chile chicken tamales and a beef fajita wrap. The tamales were delicious and despite the beef being a little dry (not surprising for the end of their day) it was still delicious. The service was great, both guys running the cart were smiling and friendly, we were able to pay with a credit card which was not expected but convenient and it was the serving size and price were exactly what we needed. Hopefully when we return today it will be in time to get the pork tamales!

My son's favorite place. He will stop by whenever he is near Santa Fe.

Don't want to wait for a table at one of the plaza's ritzy spots? Just stop at the El Molero food truck and you'll save both time and money and your tummy will thank you.the fajitas can be dry, but the fill up that tortilla. The tamales are consistently good and are solid examples of a northern New Mexico red chile tamales.

The beef and chicken fajitas definitely lived up to the expectations. The fajitas where made carefully and priced amazingly. I would definitely come back to El Molero.

Owner has been in Santa Fe 30 years and comes from Mexico. He was with his daughter the day I purchased one of his famously good chicken fajitas. Very friendly people. Quick service. Excellent pricing (especially for Santa Fe). Superb food with loads (no skimping here) of tender, juicy chicken inside the fajita. In this post-covid restriction times, I entered two restaurants that said they were open, but no one came to greet me or seat me, so I eventually left. Really glad because it allowed me to find El Molero, its excellent food, no waiting, no frills. A must. Located at SW corner of main plaza. I lived in Mexico for 7 years and this food brought back many great memories. Try this very safe street food … you’ll love it. I understand now why it is a Santa Fe institution. Yum.

Incredibly delicious chicken fajitas and quick service,

Everything here is premade. My beef fajita meat was so dry it was drier than jerky. I tried a chili relleno burrito for $3. It was so bland it should have been $1.Do yourself a favor. Spend some money on decent food.

Fajita street food??? We couldn’t resist - they were so juicy it was dripping all over us. We all really enjoyed it - they were super friendly - the prices were just right!!! Recommended if you something good, cheap, and fast.
