This place is pure magic! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was transported to the heart of Mexico City. The food, the ambiance, everything was simply divine. It's a must-try for anyone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine and a touch of elegance
Escondido Santa Fe was pretty good.
Naturally, I have a critique:
We celebrated Julee's birthday today.
I called yesterday to make a rez "we'll get back to you"...don't bs me. Rez handled on-line after the fact.
The Michelada was good: black, volcanic salt & Tajin garnished the rim.
Julee had a reg Eggs Benedict nicely executed.
I had a Skirt Steak w/Guajillo(chile) Demi-Glace & eggs, served w/potatoes & a side of house-made chorizo.

Great spot. Beautiful spot, fun vibe, top quality ingredients. Had the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños, a bright and fresh ceviche verde and incredible vegetarian mole enchiladas. As expected the Coin margarita was spot on. Service was excellent. Nice patio and great roof top.
Highly recommend. Will be back next visit to Santa Fe!

Escondido Santa Fe provides a great cozy atmosphere and nice ambience. The menu has a great variety, with tasty and delicious food. The tacos, including pork belly, shrimp, and carnitas, are absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. Appetizers are incredible, especially the jalapeño poppers and the elote. The drinks and cocktails, like the Pistachio Papi, are impressive. The restaurant can easily accommodate vegan needs. However, the service receives mixed reviews, described as both top notch and as sometimes inattentive, with some delays and food runners unsure of orders. Despite this, the experience is often fantastic and highly recommended.
