Wonderful people, we were 700+ miles from home on a road trip and stopped here for coffee. Amid all the chaos in the world the owners we welcoming and we talked for about 30 mins straight! The americano I had was rich and smooth and my wife's coffee was amazing as well! Please stop in and give it a try...well worth your time and money!

One of the best lattes i've ever had in my life and the barista is incredibly kind. My 6yo was asking questions about everything in the shop, and he was joyfully answering and chatting with her. Truly a pleasure.

Great coffee!Slow with a pleasant attitude and quick to start an enjoyable conversation, the the server was the perfect barista and complemented the morning flow of this ancient city with a Latinoamericana city flair. It was 7:00 a.m. in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemia, the streets were almost deserted except for the occasional tourist, who appeared to be grasping for respite from whatever chaos left at home. In fact, If a donkey carrying galvanized milk jugs or a team of oxen pulling a cart of firewood would have appeared on the street, you would have thought Santa Fe, NM was a quaint town south of the Río Bravo.

Coffee and Lattes are bold and great. The owner puts in more hours than most owners I know. He loves coffee, he loves people, and most importantly makes you feel special. It was worth the 20 mile drive out of our way. The TOTAL EXPERIENCE was great

Bill! The bestest, friendliest, coolest barista this side of the Pecos. We awoke needing an early morning cup and he was the only place open that early. Great Seattle coffee served with great conversation and smiles. Can't wait to go back tomorrow!

Rarely would I give a one star review but we came to have a coffee while visiting Santa Fe and had a really poor experience. The cappuccino came in a cpu that had a stain on the rim with a hair stuck to it. We asked politely to have it remade in another cup and they refused saying that it was not a hair. They then took a small straw and swirled around it covering the hair. We were in shock and left.

This is it. This is the place. This is where the espresso happens. Fundamentally, that's all you need to know. What? You need more?Holy Spirit is a TEENY TINY shop on the corner of the Lensic Theatre. Imagine a coffee cart pulled into an alcove. That might sound weird, but Bill has brought his collection of amazing souvenirs from decades of business into this space, and it feels like entering another world. More importantly - this place has patina. The machines are used the exact right amount, cleaned the exact right amount, and maintained the exact right amount such that you get a perfect cup of espresso that feels natural vs engineered. Keep in mind this place is for the purists. I'm not sure you'd be able to get a fancy mixed drink here, but that hardly matters. Coming to Holy Spirit is like visiting a espresso shop in Italy. On a cold morning, driving an Italian car to Holy Spirit and enjoying an espresso on the sidewalk is a transcendental experience. See you there.

Wow. The older woman working here, unknown if she owns the place or not, was the most rude person I have ever encountered. She treated me like garbage for simply asking what the bathroom code was. She told me it’s private and I can go across the street. And I said oh the cafe said the bathrooms were down here, and she says in disbelief “And they didn’t give you a code? Public restrooms are across the street” I then said, ok I’ll just call my husband upstairs... and then she backtracked and gave me the code... like why was she so incredibly rude to me?? Probably because we chose to get coffee upstairs? Idk but I would never give my money to this establishment.

Great spot for coffee and hanging out in the sun to people watch and chat. Bill is friendly and neat to talk to!

WARNING: Cash Only!!! Espresso de Arte is run on a cash only basis. Come prepared. Major star dockage for not joining the 21st century and accepting plastic or e-payments. I finally caught them during open hours & ordered my litmus drink for a coffee joint: a large mocha. It was good, but not earthshaking. The coffee flavor came through clearly & the chocolate taste was there in appropriate volume. The presentation was nice enough. Counter lady was efficient & proficient, though not particularly friendly. Price was in line with other coffee vendors, $4-$5 for the mocha. In that price range, I'll likely stick with 35 Degrees North, which is my recommended coffee stop on the Santa Fe plaza.

The owner Bill makes really great espresso drinks in a tiny storefront that's decorated with allSorts of interesting things. And he's a great pleasure to talk to while he makes your drink. Very highly recommended.

Skip the commercial coffee shops and walk down to Holy Spirit Espresso. Small hole in the wall on San Francisco St. with cool vintage decor, money hanging from the celling from all over the world from customers from all over! The barista was a cool guy, laid back and funny. The coffee was great and they had Almond milk which was perfect. you can add your own sugar, creamer etc.

They make an amazing honey lavender frappe; made with ice cream and espresso. Pretty much a vanilla milkshake with honey and lavender flavoring and an espresso shot. It’s so delicious and the guys who work here are SO friendly!
