French Restaurants in Taos, NM

“There are several tasty options on the menu. My wife and I shared a roasted red beet salad and Pollo Borachon (Drunken Chicken). The chicken was tasty but still on the bone and had to be removed from the bowl from under the tasty pastry topping and be deboned before it could be eaten (the reason for a 4 instead of 5 star rating on the food). The dish was otherwise very tasty, just inconvenient in how it had to be consumed. Chef, please use deboned chicken meat on future batches to make it easier to eat and enjoy. The seats were wood, straight back chairs which became quite uncomfortable during the expected long wait time for the fresh made meal to be served, my wife had to retrieve a back cushion from the car to allow me to sit with less discomfort. There is an outside patio dining area were in-service dogs are welcome. Service dogs are welcome in the restaurant. The wait staff was affable, helpful and professional. I left my back cushion, and the waiter brought it to me before I left the restaurant. More comfortable chairs would move my atmosphere rating to a five.“

The ambience of the location makes it perfect for a cozy meal, featuring amazing food and wine. The wait staff was very attentive and welcoming and made our visit top notch.
