I went on tonight one hour before closing to place a takeaway order ( after calling for 15 minutes with no answer) I was turned away because they were busy, What really upset me was the way it was handled, I was told " no were too busy" and the 2 waitresses stand at the front both immediately turned their backs to me. I ate outside on their shaded patio. What a beautiful view (see picture). This was my first visit to Sushi a La Hattori, even though I only live about an hour away. The food was excellent - I ordered the Hanzo sushi, which included miso soup, and I ordered tea, as well - and the service was cordial. The prices were rather high, though (expected, I guess, it's Taos), which would prohibit me from eating there more than once or twice a year, but other than that, I would recommend...read full review
