The restaurant features a beautiful German architecture blended with mountain ambiance in Carson National Forest. It has a wonderful deck and picnic tables, perfect for sitting outside under umbrellas and looking up at the mountain. Visitors can order at the bar, and the food is brought out quickly. The sausage and bratwursts, served with sauerkraut, mustard, and German potato salad, are top notch, and the apple strudel is just like traditional German recipes. The selection of German beer adds to the authentic experience. The scenery and weather are also worth the trip, making it a must-visit for those on the mountain. The pretzel is fresh, soft, and delicious, ideal after a big hike.
