“My house was craving Birria tacos something fierce and we had just missed closing time at our usual local place, dang! So...SOME people in my family aren't very good at practicing patience, and after a bit of back and forth, I decided to trek WAY out to the east side from Rio Rancho to check out Tacos la Mordida...Wow! From the time I walked up to order, I knew it was going to be good...once I got a feel for my surroundings, I realized the parking area around the food truck looks like Good Friday at Walmart. Lots of people means good food! The person who took my order explained everything and was super helpful and friendly. Birria tacos with consommé, A+! Asada Gringa, A+! So many delicious flavors and the tacos still had crispiness after our trip home! The green and red sauces that come with everything is crazy good! Price for everything I ordered was so reasonable, and he mentioned that the consommé is like a meal in itself, and no doubt it is. So much meat, you could eat it alone and be full. Great place and so glad we made the 30 mile round-trip! Love the business hours, will be back again!“
