SEVEN Springs Restaurant, located at 340-364 NM-333 in Tijeras on historic Route 66, is a welcoming spot with a hometown chill vibe. From the outside it looks like an old motel, but inside it is clean, bright, and comfortable, with the feel of a well-cared-for local hangout. There are five different TVs, an open doorway to the kitchen, local beers, ciders, and wines, and a great neighborhood vibe without feeling divey. The food is great, fresh, flavorful, well seasoned, juicy, and not greasy, and very reasonably priced. Meals mentioned include the pizza, nachos, tacos, roast beef sandwich, corned beef sandwich, pastrami Reuben, Frito pie, club sandwich, macaroni salad, flatbread pizza, and the Route 66 Italian sub. The customer service is friendly, welcoming, and kind, and a miss-charge on a card was handled quickly and easily. Karaoke nights on Thursday are lively and fun. Even if you live in Albuquerque, this diamond in the rough is worth the short drive.
