Coffee Express is attached to a gas station and is a good option for quick service and fair cost. It opens early, with some customers finding it open at 5:00 or 6:30 in the morning when other shops are closed. Service is available via a drive-thru window or inside the shop, which is accessed through the convenience store. The staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful, polite, and accommodating.
The coffee is excellent and highly recommended. Reviews highlight the espresso, describing it as a lively double shot and not acidic. Specific drinks praised include a beautiful cappuccino, smooth lattes, good regular coffee that is not burnt or bitter, and a perfect 16oz quad shot white mocha. A unique offering is Almond simple syrup. Food options include a bagel, described as okay and nothing special, and a cheese Danish.
Seating is limited. Inside the very small coffee shop, there is one table and a bar with tall stools. There are also a couple of tables outside, but the outdoor seating area had no shade during a morning visit. Two additional tables are located inside the attached convenience store. The shop is noted for being clean, with clean restrooms nearby. It is considered a good stop, especially for a road trip, though it is not a great coffee shop for hanging out due to its small size.
