“This place is amazing. Incredible breakfast croissants w flakey, fresh croissants and real thick cut bacon, super friendly and fast service and I don't know whether it's just a TorC thing or not, but I found myself having nice conversations with other patrons every time I was in there. Only suggestion I would make is to have fresh, rich dark roast brewed coffee in the morning (an Americano is nice, but nothing beats good brewed dark roast). Thumbs up all around.”
“We ate at Tony's for late lunch. EVERYTHING & EVERYONE was incredible! It's not a fancy restaurant, it's a nice clean place with friendly people and great service and food! And a true SW dining experience. I had the chunky red beef burrito with refried beans and Spanish rice. The meat was very tender and well seasoned, the red sauce awesome the rice was especially good and the beans as well. My wife had the "Tonys" plate with chili relleno, chicken taquito, cheese enchiladas and rice and beans. Everything was very very good and the prices are great! LOTS OF FOOD! The chips and salsa were good as well the salsa was very flavorful. Our server was delightful. We are retired and traveling the country (former Arizonans) HIGHLY RECOMMEND TONYS!!!”
“We went on a special Steak night in addition to their regular menu.I had the ribeye with a caper sauce and my husband had the NY strip with a chimichurri sauce. They were both delicious and the best part was they were so tender we could cut them with a butter knife. I worry when paying $30 a plate but this meal along with a twice baked potato and veggies did not disappoint! The chef there is excellent. We also enjoyed live music there that night during dinner. Every Thursday seems to be a different theme night .I highly recommend checking this place out.”
“I really enjoyed my food and the service was excellent. It was a Sunday night which this location is open late compared to other places. That meant they were busy. When we arrived the waitress explained she was the only one on duty and that they were out of pizza crusts other than the 10 in cauliflower pizza. No problem. We sat down and looked over the menu. I saw something called butcher block spaghetti so we had to try that as well as a pepperoni pizza. I ordered a small Caesar salad and my wife got the small house salad. Everything was great. Would definitely visit again next time I'm in town.”
“We went on a Sunday hoping to try their Green Chile Biscuits and Gravy, but we got there too late - they were sold out :( It was pretty busy the whole time we were there. It took about 45 minutes to get our food - which is my only real complaint. Next time, we'll make sure to get there when they open. We ended up ordering the Cubano and the Bananas Foster French Toast - both were delicious! Staff was friendly and inviting.”
“Food is delicious! Excellent and fast service and a fair 12 dollar cost for all meals besides some sides. The spring rolls are Awesome! Also give you a free soda or water after your order. I highly recommend this place in T or C!”
“Johnny B's has to be one of the best restaurants I've been to and there's only one thing that can top Johnny B's is my grandma's chicken and dumplings but this restaurant is up there”
“Don't listen to any of these 1 star reviews. Yes, the customer service aspect can be bit iffy depending on who's working but THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Hand crafted sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and more. It will take some time to get your order but it is well worth the wait. The new kitchen manager/chef, Skip, is a visionary who is trying to bring life to the dead and boring "Main Ave" in downtown T or C.”
“We ordered takeout, so I won't speak to the atmosphere of the establishment. We had the Margherita, Mesquite Wings, and Loaded Nachos. All of which were delicious and the green chile on the nachos were pleasantly spicy. Wouldn't mind going bowling next time.”
“Just went back for the first time since it reopened. It's smaller than it used to be, but it's still filled with books! There are also stickers, cards, and postcards (at $1 each!) available for purchase. There are a couple or three tables to sit at if you want to enjoy some coffee there. The coffee isn't fancy, but it's good. You can get prepackaged snacky sweets too.The lady working when I visited was super nice. There was no decaf ready when I asked for decaf, so she brewed a pot and brought my cup to the table where I was sitting. It's a nice place to hang out.”
“The food is good, but it's definitely not worth the price. The bar needs work. Ask for a nice guy named Gary to serve you, and you'll surely have the best service available.”
“Food: I had the chicken sandwich - I mean, a sandwich doesn't have a lot going on, but it was delicious and quite large. Fries were great. 6/5 - definitely eat their food. Service: Place your order at the counter and they will bring it to you. Follow-up attention is ... attentive! A bit over the top, maybe, but they'll get the feel of what's enough and what's too much. 4/5 - friendly and attentive. Ambiance: Loud, static-y Christian music. Despite good company and good food, what I remember most was trying to block out the background noise. If you're ordering to go, you'll be fine. Dine-in: 2/5 - not great. [If I hear they've made the atmosphere a little more diner-friendly, I'll come back and revise. In the meantime, it's just a bit too much to try again right away.]”
“They have reduced their dine in hours, but I did a pick up for dinner. I got the pub fish. I have ordered the Keto steak and grilled veggies. I have found these two dishes to be excellent. Never had an issue with the service.”
“A & B Always serves great food. We do have our favorites , the zucchini sticks are great , we always order those, with our meal. Everything is fresh, hot and good quality. Service was great also. We didn't have to wait long for our food. You can call your order in and pick it up and it's ready right away, you can also order in your car at the window or walk in and order your food. . I would recommend going to eat at A & B Drive-in.”
“Great spot in downtown T&C. Lee was gracious and helped us pick beers that we would enjoy, offering us tastes. Though they don't serve food Lee told us we were welcome to get takeout down the way and eat it on the Front sidewalk z patio. Beer was delicious, locals at the bar were super friendly. Really enjoyed our experience here. Thanks!”
