Penny's Diner Reviews
If you’re coming from Albuquerque and headed to Roswell in search of Extraterrestrial encounters take the road less traveled and make your way through the little town of Vaughn. I travel from Texas to Albuquerque very often and always look over at PENNYS and think I should stop in. Never did before but today I did and was very happy with the entire experience. Great food and friendly staff. I will be back to eat there and make sure anyone that is with me will try it also. Great stop after long drive in the desert.
Stopped here for breakfast the food was delicious and the employees were very nice and polite

Penny's Diner is a hidden gem, tucked away behind a hotel and trees, but worth the discovery. This classic diner serves up generous portions of traditional diner-style food, including breakfast favorites like chicken fried steak and pancakes, as well as satisfying sandwiches like the Western Burger. The interior is a unique feature, with a polished surface covered in comments and messages from past visitors. Despite being short-staffed, the service is friendly and attentive, with staff making guests feel at home through upbeat banter and warm hospitality. Prices are reasonable, around $30 for two meals and drinks. The diner is a cozy, Americana spot that offers a friendly atmosphere, even during busy hours. Recent visitors have praised the great food and friendly staff, noting that the diner can serve both large crowds and small groups with wonderful meals. The parking is good, and the French Dip and milkshakes are highly recommended. Even late at night, the diner maintains its old-fashioned charm, offering a bright, 24/7 open atmosphere. Customers also appreciate the quick service, even when busy, and see it as a nice spot to enjoy a sit-down meal when passing through a remote area. The overall experience is enjoyable, and many hope to return to create more wonderful memories.
