“This was our second visit while in town form the special Olympics summer games and yet again it did not disappoint! Wonderful staff, great dine in atmosphere and the food was hands down the best I had while in town! Hope to be back for another visit! Worth every penny we spent!”

We enjoyed delish oysters!… local from Sober Island. Loved the warm olives! And homemade ice cream for dessert. One of our best evenings out! And it’s local! ❤️”

“Pipers hosted our workplace for lunch and it was such a great experience. Tyler worked with me during the organizing process , and was happy to make any accommodations that were needed. The servers were lovely and the kitchen staff did amazing feeding all 55 of us. I recommend Pipers Pub for any large gatherings! Thanks again 💜”

“Used the washroom to wash hands. The washroom was a complete disaster. I wouldn’t take my dog in the washroom. There was urine all over the floor and toilet seat, paper towels and water all over the floor. Somebody done #2 and not flushed. This washroom smelt disgusting. I watched an employee go into the washroom. After I finished eating I checked the washroom and it was in the same condition. The food was great as always but the washroom was filthy and for this reason I will not eat at this restaurant again. I am surprised the Dept of health doesn’t take action. This restaurants washrooms used to be cleaned but now it’s dirty and smelly.”

“We stopped here on our way to Cape Breton and enjoyed the service enough that we stopped again on our way out. The food was good, but we really liked the guy who served us. Unfortunately, he informed us he was leaving to go across the country in a week or so. Hope the rest of the staff are as nice and helpful as that fellow.”

“A lovely little hole in the wall (literally) with a great selection of ice cream. The service is always pleasant and the portions are more than generous. An essential stop for anyone looking to grab a cool treat on a hot day. Bonus points for having freshly made waffle cones made on site.”

“The staff are wonderful ! The calzones and pizzas are very good however do not waste your money on the chicken fettuccine. It was bland , no taste of garlic or Parmesan, they used spaghetti noodles instead of fettuccine noodles , a complete waste of money .”
