“Thanks for the impeccable service, original cocktails and nice food. We dined Friday Eve and were the only diners but received rock star service from the moustached gentleman behind the bar. We visited another bar after based on the bartenders recommendation but the service at Walters was 1000% better! The food was decent. We tried the nachos and the Bao buns. Some ingredients on the nachos were redundant (ricotta) and didn't add anything to the dish at all. They were a little toppings heavy which is certainly rare!! But the flavours were good and we enjoyed the Bao buns. Great cook on the pork belly!! Drinks were superb - unique flavours and lovely presentation. Thanks so much for a lovely evening. Our first visit and we will be back ASAP for another wonderful cocktail.“

“Really great experience at this spot in downtown Dartmouth. Went for date night and we had the bread, carrots, prawns, and rainbow trout, all very much shareable. Food and atmosphere were great, service was exceptional, shout out to my man Luis for a wonderful evening!“

“I personally am not one for expanding my cuisine, so it was my first time having authentic Mediterranean. The meal was pretty good but was a little bland. However, I was generally pleased with my chicken shawarma and halloumi fries! I would recommend if you're looking for Mediterranean cuisine!“

“We went for an anniversary dinner and it was spectacular. We ordered the scallops and pork belly appetizers and they were both amazing. The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection and the pork belly was so tender and flavourful with a pear sauce that is unmatched. For our mains we ordered the tuna and the short rib and they were both over the top. This restaurant offers fine dinning without a pretentious atmosphere. Very comfortable little restaurant and some of the best food I’ve ever had! All in (before tip) and after tax our dinner cost $130CA including two drinks, two appetizers and two entrees. Will definitely be back!!“

“This was my first time at The Cannery, Bedford Row in downtown Halifax. I was greeted by friendly staff and my first thought was of the cleanliness of the restaurant and the staff were sharply dressed. The ambiance was chic and it was decorated in classy high end furnishings. I choose a both, yet still had a great view of Halifax harbour. The Braised Short Rib Pappardelle was cooked flawlessly and the sauce was tasty delicious. I look forward to the steak on my next visit. Mixologist Abi is amazing and pours the best tasting cocktails the city has to offer. His drinks please both the eye and the taste buds as he has a few tricks up his sleeve. “As a person who travels alone a lot, I want to share my experiences about the awesome staff and great food that Le Rouge has to offer. While the menu is small it has something for everyone. Excellent apps , the most delicious steaks, seafood and the best Chocolate Cake. As a returning customer on the first night the Seth waiter /bartender ( recognized me and commented that I was here for my annual show. A year later he remembers my wine choice recommends a the best choice of a steak and of course my dessert taking great care in making sure my allergy to shrimp was never a threat. On my second night, again he recommends the Le Rouge burger that arrives hot and delicious and he tells me that my first choice of nachos contains a fish sauce that might contains shrimp he probably served dozens of customers but still remembered my allergy. I greatly appreciate that the staff was friendly with small talk and checking up me Seth and his new buddy Charbel were awesome to watch as they mixed up a constant array of drinks. With a great atmosphere, delicious food and supreme staff I give Le Rouge a 12 out 10 . I ate at Le Rouge for 6 nights and every meal was awesome 🤩“

“Enjoyed our first (but certainly not our last) dining experience at Ragazzi. It was amazing from start to finish. From the lovely greeting at the door, to our knowledgeable and entertaining server Lucas, it was an evening to remember. Our meals were a gourmet delight and were nothing short of perfection. From the flaming shrimp and scallops, to the insanely delicious halibut, veal parmigiana and lasagna, we have no words. Lucas was attentive to all our needs and he can whip up a wicked martini! “We had our small wedding group here for dinner post ceremony. It was the perfect space (the Rhino room) and fit all 27 of us. Booking was easy, the staff and food was fantastic and delicious. And they were so accommodating to our guests with allergies. Cannot recommend it enough!“

“I really did enjoy my visit. I ordered the Caesar Salad which had real Pork prices in it and what seemed to be homemade croutons. It was delicious. The service was great. The only issue I had is that the chocolate cheesecake I ordered for desert was a bit dried out from obviously being prepared before hand and kept in the fridge.“

“My husband and I shared our entrees . He had the fish and chips and I had pan fried halibut. Generous pieces of fish fish in both meals and chips were not greasy. The pan fried halibut was what I wanted not highly seasoned served with lemon.
I do not recommend the side salad: dressing full of chunky raw garlic in a little paper medication cup. The beet and goat cheese salad came without any goat cheese; but in general the food was quite good“
