As a long-time loyal customer, I’m extremely disappointed by my recent visit. For years I have consistently ordered takeout here and even left a five-star review praising the quality. Unfortunately, my first in-person experience in nine months due to pregnancy left me feeling rushed, pressured, and unwelcome.
Partway through our meal, I was informed that the “all you can eat” option is limited to two hours. This time restriction was never disclosed on the menu, website, or posted in the restaurant. Being told this only after I had nearly finished eating made the experience feel unfair and misleading.
On top of that, when my young son didn’t finish a dish he didn’t like, staff warned us about possible charges for wasted food. Combined with being told I would be charged per plate if I continued eating, it completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening.
If the restaurant enforces such a strict two-hour limit, this policy should be clearly advertised in advance. Transparency matters, and customers should never feel blindsided mid-meal. It’s very disappointing that a place I once held in such high regard has made me feel I can no longer recommend it.
