“What a great spot! Such friendly staff, and a wonderful variety of baked goods, lunches, coffees, slushies, and of course, caramels! My daughter and I had the best cheese toasties we have ever had 🤤, the Lure latte was very yummy and not too sweet, and the kids' sized slushy was the cutest, most perfect size. We enjoyed sitting outside, and of course had to test a caramel, as well (again: SO yummy and not overly sweet). We'll be back for sure! Thanks again! 🥰”

“On July 5, 2025 the Savary Plate catered our wedding in Hubbards, NS and our guests are still talking about the food. We had a blend of Caribbean and Canadian food and the team at the Savary Plate executed the mix of cultures beautifully and deliciously. Alisha was amazing to work with, really cared about our vision and went above and beyond as we finalized the menu. Not only was the food flavourful, the service was impeccable and seamless. I would recommend Savary Plate again and again. We still can’t believe how phenomenal the food was for such a reasonable price. “I stopped here on the way back during a 55 km bike ride. Initially, I thought the price of the car he was a little high until I actually taste of coffee. I have to say it was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had in my life. 100% worth the money that I paid for! I also had a banana chocolate chip muffin with it, which was delicious. Whether stopping in a car or cycling along the BLT trail and stopping in, this is a must stop for anybody passing by. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I will absolutely be back.”

“If I could give more stars I would! The two kindness employees who served us took their time with me and my husband. They understand his disability and assisted him through the ordering process while assisting me without a rush. My husband is visual impaired and normally I would have to assist him with what is there to garnish his food and attempt to garnish mine and try to keep an eye in hime while I am being rushed to complete ny order and it is an insane process with a bar set up... the previous burrito place didn't take their time and we were rushed... the two employees that assisted us went above and beyond and took their time with us and really made our experience more enjoyable and relaxed. They even allowed us to get seated and they brought the food to our table. The food was so fresh and amazing! The BEST burrito in all of HRM. Thank you to the two employees for going above and beyond for our experience”

“I really should have posted this review a long time ago. White sails has been a mainstay for us anytime we are out for a drive. If you are travelling anywhere near Peggy’s Cove you should be stopping here. It’s a family run local business with a great selection of great tasting , perfectly prepared food. The owners and staff are always so friendly and courteous and they really give back to the community in so many ways. They have a great selection of bakery items and an awesome selection of gluten free items both hot and bakery related. It is honestly a go to place for us and when we want to treat anyone travelling from out of province.”

The 3 piece fish and chips are huge and very good. The scallops are tasty and soft.

“Ordered the 10oz Steak with Taters and Salad. Taters and Salad were great, unfortunately my steak was less than blue (VERY undercooked). I ordered a medium rare so the server was super polite (service was great, she was adorable!) and took it back to the kitchen to be cooked more throughly. Once I received my ‘cooked’ steak it was still very blue. I ate around the blue areas but was surprised to hear I would only be offered a $10 dessert as I paid for a $36 steak that I only had two bites of. The staff are friendly and quick, even during the busy morning rush. I also really enjoy their breakfast sandwiches and baked goods – the Timbits are a perfect treat for sharing. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to catch up with friends or just relax with a cup of coffee. Definitely one of my go-to places for a quick and satisfying meal or snack.”
