“Any stop in Barrington Passage must include a visit to JB’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant! I initially went because the online reviews of the food were enticing. Once there, I was moved to discover that this woman-owned business is staffed by family members who are keeping alive the legacy of a Miss Ally fisherman, lost to the sea in a 2013 tragedy that claimed five young men from this area. Two things to love about the Maritimes are the fresh seafood (simply cooked, and bursting with flavour) and the friendly locals (in my opinion, Maritimers are the most genuine people in Canada). You will get both of these in abundance at JB’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant.”

“Definitely rate this place as a 5 Star. First time here, and we literally have no complaints. Super clean, very cozy and updated. Beds were really comfortable and we loved that we had our own codes to get in and out of the building and our room. Loved the self check in and no issues with a request for a late check out.
Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

“I loved this place, and still do! One time I went in to order and knocked my drink on the ground outside and when I went back in they didn’t charge me for another. Overall great, no complaints.”

“The lobster cream fondue is to die for ! The "catch of the day" lobster is extremely over priced. Labeled as a "tourist favorite" on the menu. @ 95$ for a 1.5-2 lb lobster, is definitely a favorite for them to sell to tourists. Being the "lobster capital of Canada" we fell into the A-typical tourist trap.

“Only down side is someone double parked the disabled spots, and my friend who's disabled had to walk far from back in parking lot to the building. So be warry if you need these spots as I hear this happens alot.

Wheelchair accessibility: When non disabled people who double parked them aren't there it's plentiful.”
