The staff even treated a member of our group to a special treat after hearing that our friend had had a less than satisfactory experience at a different restaurant in the area. “It was an absolute incredible experience. The crew was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgable. We went on the afternoon tour and there was lots of fog but we still got to see 5 humpback whales. They got quite close to use and lots of time was spent enjoying watching them. I highly recommend.“
“I recently had a great experience at The Crow’s Nest restaurant. It is a casual dining seafood restaurant on Water St in Digby NS with a fantastic view of the Annapolis Basin. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our party of 6 wandered in (off season) and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Tables were set for 4 but they set a table for 6 in less than 2 minutes. We all ordered a bowl of seafood chowder and each couple split haddock bites and fries. The chowder came; it was rich, hearty and ready-to-eat temperature wise - not blistering hot but neither luke-warm, bordering on cool. A very good variety of white fish and shell fish. This seafood chowder was some of the best I’ve had. The haddock bites came and our waitress split each order for us. There were again, substantial portions cooked exactly as we asked. We all took most of this away with us as the bowl of chowder filled us. All this awesome food, great views, and an absolutely professional server for a very reasonable price. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night. I/we would highly recommend this establishment and plan to return in the future.“
“Food & drinks: Well I can't thank you enough, it was my birthday supper, I had the best steak done to perfectly, the scollops were done perfectly the way I like them.My husband fish and chips, his fish he raved about how good it was cooked.The service was wonderful, our watrest was amazing, she greated us, told us about the special, then showed me the wine list, she came back shortly, took our drinks order as we went over the menu.She gave us lots of time, I knew I wanted the steak and scollops, my husband fish and chips.It was a very nice quiet place, we saw the fishing boats out the window as the sun went down, she came back with our food.She percented with here is your birthday supper.Every bit was very good I didn't want to put my fork down.She asked us if we wanted dessert, as much as we did we had no room ?Thank you all for making my birthday supper enjoyable ? ?“
“The food and service was great! The atmosphere is what you would expect in Digby; a little country feeling dinner. We both got a lobster roll and chowder and there was no complaints at all! Both were amazing and fresh. I got the carrot cake for desert and it was by far the best I’ve had in years. Highly recommend“
