“I had the most amazing experience at The Sou'Wester Restaurant today! It was my 55th birthday and I came in out of the down pouring rain to eat lunch by myself while I was waiting for my accommodations up the road to be ready. I was seated at the best table in the restaurant overlooking the lighthouse. I was served promptly with a much needed hot chocolate, complete with mini marshmallows. I ordered the seafood chowder, which came before my hot chocolate even had time to cool. I felt very welcomed and the staff had zero problems with me lingering over a second hot chocolate while I read from my current novel. I never thought someone could have such a wonderful experience dining by themselves. Thanks to the staff for making this day so memorable. Each of my dining experiences in the past have all been top notch, but this one was the ice cream on their Apple crisp.“
