Had the classic burger here last night and I loved it! The atmosphere is fantastic and they were always playing music to keep the mood up the servers were quick and very kind I will definitely be coming back to East of Grafton!!

They were amazing in regards to service and overall style. They made my daughter's birthday a fun adventure and even gave her the cake with candles. The service was spectacular, and the recommendations were outstanding. The beer samper is fabulously priced. You get the three craft beers for the price of one anywhere else. The food was well portioned and delicious. Served meticulously to perfection with a sense of pride.Of all the locations on the block, this is where to dine.On a side note, my daughter left her $100 sweatshirt behind in the bag we just purchased it in. They put it aside until we came back to claim it.They provided a great experience and were honest.

This restaurant is set on Argyle Street, a lovely area of Halifax, with lots of choice and live music. The servers were extremely helpful in advising on gluten free options from the menu and gave good advice on drinks too. the portions were huge and very tasty. Thanks to Maryn our server for being super friendly and helpful to a jet lagged family!

Loved the nachos here! And our server was VERY busy (we could tell by all the new tables coming in) but she was very attentive to us. Great overall experience, we'll be back for sure.

Michael is the best server I’ve ever had in my life. Their immaculate vibes and show stopping smiles ensured another visit by me! Couldn’t recommend east of grafton enough, and count yourself lucky if Michael is your server

Great deco. I was in-between rush so it was quite. But food was great and had a great chat with the Chef. Music was enjoyable and was nice finished to my meal.

Good place for half priced nachos and pub snacks from 4-6. The nachos ($9.50) were layered well with peppers, artichoke pieces and pickled onion, and had a good ratio of cheese to chip and amount of dip (sour cream, refried beans, fresh salsa). 3 Chicken sliders ($8) were tasty but not very filling. Sat outside on the patio and could hear music from The Pint across the street.

Spent a week in Halifax. We tried many of the local restaurants in the downtown/ boardwalk area. Returned here 3 times which speaks for itself. The drinks are incredibly delicious and the food was equally impressive. The mussels are a must try. The staff were amazing and displayed that East coast hospitality that Halifax is known for. I'll be back

We wandered around downtown Halifax until we were hungry and came across this adorable bar right in time for happy hour. This seems to be a favourite among the locals because they said in a few hours they'd be full with reservations. The cocktails were fantastic and I would definitely come back with friends for dinner and drinks. A great place for a date too.

Went there seeing excellent reviews of food, doesn’t live upto hype. Wanted to try Mediterranean Nachos but they completely revised the menu as such. Tried normal nachos, chicken wings and another chicken dish ;wings were smelly and below average and can’t complain about nachos (serving is large for a single person). Overall, average, nothing to be hyped about!

A little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for here. The food is consistently excellent, and while it may be a bit more expensive than some places, they give you fair portion sizes for what they're priced at.I specifically love their fried chicken sandwiches.Really cool venue, typically pretty easy to find a seat if you're just dropping in. They have lots of seating for various party sizes. Also a fun spot to book for an event. We had a work Christmas party here and were able to set up trivia. We supplied our own project and screen, but the staff was able to provide technical assistance with the surround sound and audio settings.

Hubby and I don’t drink so we cannot attest to that . However, we ordered the Mexican Flat Bread and Chicken Sliders as our appetizers. The flatbread was absolutely delicious. Flavours all worked together beautifully and the bread was baked to perfection, with just the right amount of crisp. The sliders were very tasty as well. Hubs ordered the burger and enjoyed it. I specifically came for the Beef Brisket and Brussels, two of my favourite foods! It did not disappoint! Brisket fell apart under my fork, Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly and the celeriac potato purée was fabulous. The textures and flavours all melded together so perfectly. The portion could have been just slightly larger but the perfection of the meal and apps (and dessert) made up for it. Thanks for a wonderful experience before our Neptune show.

The food is amazing. Get the nachos, best in town. Service is always amazing and the staff are so awesome. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable to relax and enjoy a beer or cocktail. One of my favorite go-to places for a casual night out

To start we waited awhile to be seated, the food portions weren’t best. Also ate the entire meal without a refill as the waitress was no where to be found and didn’t come to check up once. My partner wanted a second glass of wine but wasn’t able to get that until she came to clear out plates. I will say the taste of the food was great but purely based on service we will not return.
