(This is before the closure). Wow! Best dining experience in months, quiet and elegant. Great food also! We went just before the chef retired from daily service. Too bad. Review updated after management comment.
An absolute hidden gem! I hope they reopen soon.
Both food and service were exceptional. Unfortunately, the inn will be pausing their restaurant service effective August 12th, 2023. I live in hope that they'll soon find a chef equally as accomplished as their current chef because the inn is a real gem in downtown Halifax and we'd welcome its quick return.
Stories Fine Dining offers an exceptional fine dining experience in downtown Halifax. The restaurant consistently earns top marks on "best of" lists and has a reputation for delivering exceptional food and service. Guests praise the knowledgeable young servers and the quiet, romantic atmosphere. The menu features dishes such as the Faroe Island Salmon entree, which has been consistently praised for its exceptional quality. Unfortunately, the restaurant has announced its closure at the end of the summer, leaving fans hoping for its return.
