2.5-3.0 Even though this bar and Durty Nelly’s are fairly popular places, I wouldn’t recommend them, simply because I’ve been treated poorly by their security and their management. This place also has a lack of vegetarian/pescatarian options but that’s the least of my concerns. Their owners were never kind to me. It’s not right that Halifax bars can choose to ban you for little to no reason at all. Even if another couple of bars have banned you, word gets out and other...
We were visiting from out of town and decided to try this place. It did not disappoint! The service was amazing, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go back!
Great pub food and atmosphere. Fiona was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Great substitutions for fries available with sandwiches. Abundance of choices for beer and cocktails.
Vegetarian options: The mushroom burger was completely vegan, I believe. There was a delicious beet and grapefruit salad and very tasty brussels sprouts.
