Our first experience with a donair — we are from BC and don’t have the world famous Halifax donair there. It was AMAZING! Would highly recommend trying one from Tony’s! And very reasonable (cheaper that the same place down at the harbourfront).
Meat was thinly sliced and sauce was good. Maybe I'm just used to a different kind of donair wrap from Alberta or different flavors eating Lebanese food but Tony's didn't hit the spot for us. Flavors weren't as good as I was expecting for being one of the original Donairs of Canada. The thing that really got me though was that there was no soap in the washroom and the staff used the same washroom. Maybe that turned me off the whole experience. Glad we could say we tried it though
Damn! There is a reason why they are the best in Halifax. Worth the drive from London Ontario!
