“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

Portions were hearty without being excessive, and prices felt fair for the quality. The pizzas had bold flavors, especially the mushroom one. Parking was tight nearby, but worth it. The crust is excellent and not greasy. The owner is fantastic and definitely cares about his customers and his pizzeria's reputation.“

“I truly love the food here. Nothing better than a day after sightseeing and being on the go all day to finish up with a delicious meal. It was so good we went 2 nights in a row because this location was right beside the hotel we were staying at.
The staff is extremely friendly and it was cute they had a little lemonade stand in front. We ordered a variety of items including pizza, wings, donair, and garlic sticks. All amazing. I have zero complaints. I would easily go here again and again.“

“You guys really need to step it up when it comes to consistency. I'm so tired of paying good money for food and being disappointed. You used to be my go to for everything and I keep trying and hoping that things have improved but one week I'll get a large donair and it's a large and tastes good, next week ill order a large donair and get a small burnt one. same thing with donair subs. I just paid $15 for a large donair, it was tiny and the sauce on it taste like milk not at all like donair sauce. Done with spending good money and getting something different every time I won't try again that's for sure.“

“My local Domino's is the absolute BEST. Always delicious pizza and garlic fingers, and fast delivery. All the workers are always kind and friendly.

Today they made a mistake with my order, so they remade it, and gave me the mistake-pizza for free, when they came to deliver my order! I wasn't aware until the driver came, so it was a very welcomed surprise! As a disabled person on income assistance, I'm so happy to have this extra meal. “Stopped by for a weeknight dinner around 7 and Rinaldo's was as good as ever, even on a Tuesday. The lamb ragu is still the move, rich and slow-cooked, and they didn't skimp on portion size like some places do midweek. Our server remembered we'd been in a few weeks back and steered us toward a nice Chianti that paired perfectly. It's a small dining room so it fills up fast even on weeknights, but we've never had to wait more than ten minutes for a table.“

Edit 28th July: I had to downgrade the rating because lately the pizza quality has declined for my last 5 orders straight. The toppings are getting smaller and lesser over time. I always order pizza with butter chicken sauce and pay extra for it but it feels like they carry a very low quantity of that sauce!“

Time to Order: 13 Minutes

I dragged a group from the conference center to make the 25 minute walk to Tony's, getting there around 8:20PM.

We all ordered donairs, of course. I got a large.
Only do that if you came reeeeaally hungry.
It's massive.
Like, really massive.

I think this donair restored my faith in humanity for providing reasonably priced, filling, delicious meals. Or it just spoke to the carnivous Texan soul.
It's the first and only donair I've had but really set a bar for any I will have in the future! Seriously stuffed with meat, messy to eat, and packed with sweet and spice and flavor.

I couldn't eat one every day (unlike a gyro, there are very little veggies here) but it was a great meal and one that I'll remember more than some others I've paid 2-3x as much for.

I also tried someone's poutine and found it reasonable, but I've only had a few and they're kind of similar. This one was hot with some nice and rich gravy.

Would definitely recommend a try!“
