“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

“Easily one of my favorite pizzerias in Halifax, with a long established history as well. The specialty Euro pizzas are excellent, but I still often order the thicker crust traditional offerings. The crust is excellent and not greasy. The owner is fantastic and definitely cares about his customers and his pizzeria's reputation.“

“We ordered the #4 special and garlic fingers and Greek poutine.The donairs were amazing....the garlic fingers were the best I have eaten and the donair sauce was so thick and creamy....not all pizza shops can make good donair sauce.My husband got the meat lovers pizza .....the meat was so much....not cheap on ingredients would definetly recommend if your staying at Chateau Bedford.“

It is common to hear ‘Yeah it’s good…. but it’s no Jessy’s’ I’m lucky that their quality pizza comes at an economical price or I’d be broke. Highly recommend.“

“Had seen a short video from EarlyPete about this pizza place doing a secret not on the menu Chicago Deep Dish pizza and had to seek it out since I've never had that style before. The down side - the pie only comes in a large and is a whopping $50 plus. Up side - it's worth EVERY penny. (He did not do enough justice to how truly remarkable this pie is!) Thick tasty crust with almost soup like consistency in the sauce itself (let it cool a bit!) this was one of the most unique and amazing food experiences I've had in Nova Scotia. (They won't even cut it for fear of leakage!) Layers of sauce, meat (got pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms, yum!) and especially mounds of mouth-watering cheese that soothe the soul, this one may be pricey but is a must try for any and all food adventurers. (Plus got a ton of mileage out of this one as every slice is a meal!) Highly recommend for folks seeking something well above and beyond the norm.“

You used to be my go to for everything and I keep trying and hoping that things have improved but one week I'll get a large donair and it's a large and tastes good, next week ill order a large donair and get a small burnt one. same thing with donair subs. I just paid $15 for a large donair, it was tiny and the sauce on it taste like milk not at all like donair sauce. Done with spending good money and getting something different every time I won't try again that's for sure.“

“Just got into Halifax late and needed something to eat. Picked Peter’s Pizza randomly and had it delivered. The result: Outstanding pizza. Because it was Halifax I ordered a Donair Pizza and it was fantastic. Great crust, cheese, donair meat, and best of all, they put plenty of donair sauce on the side so I could use as much as I want. “I’ve had Kit Kat pizza in the past so it’s been awhile like years and the food that stuck out for me was the hamburgers as they made them from scratch/ the garlic fingers with so much cheese/ their Hawaiian pizza with so many toppings on it and now 2024- tried them again as I love the owners but it’s just been so long, their Hawaiian pizza like only 2 bucks more than when I remember , is still the same with so many toppings n cheese- my son loved their chicken fingers and fries as they were cooked just right!

“I order from this location at least twice a month. It's usually quick and consistent, so if I'm hungry for pizza this is my go to. Domino's is not gourmet, it's a chain with decent pizza. I haven't tried the latest crust options, but the deep dish is always good. The staff is friendly and they make a mistake they will fix it.“

“Absolutely loved Freeman’s Little New York Restaurant! We were there before Christmas of 2025. The food was incredible from start to finish. The Canadian cheeseburger was juicy and packed with flavor, the toasted Philly cheesesteak subs were hot, loaded, and delicious and CHEEZY!, and the Eggs Benedict was spot-on with a rich, creamy hollandaise.

On top of the great food, the ambience was warm and welcoming. Perfect for families, kids, grandparents, and everyone in between. Comfortable, relaxed, and full of that classic New York–style charm.
