“Oddly, one of the better meals I've had in Halifax was at Sosta. The service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere was nice and calm and the food was excellent and good quality. Was it expensive? - yes, but look where you are - it is a bit of a captive audience.

“The only place in Halifax international airport I dinned in and I loved it. The taste was great and was filling. But bit pricey which is to be expected in an airport. I have been there twice once I tried maple curry chicken penne and other time I ordered chicken burger with tater tots. Both tasted amazing and must try. Definitely recommend it!”

I have been quite critical of Tim Hortons restaurants and for very good reasons; poor communications, sloppy service, inaccurate orders, uncaring management and dirty surroundings to name a few. But not this time. Credit must be given where credit is due. This version of Tim Hortons, just outside the Halifax International Airport on Bell Blvd, is a welcome and highly notable exception. It is spotlessly clean, bright, comfortable, welcoming and pleasant. The staff listen and speak with clarity and confidence and are truly attentive to your needs. It demonstrates that Tim Hortons can raise the bar and, indeed, meet it. But to do so they must have a team in place that has the skill and motivation to perform at this level. Unfortunately and sadly so, such is not the case in most of their restaurants”
