I’m very disappointed with the quality of their food. The beef and broccoli smelled like seafood, the ice cream was completely freezer-burned and flavourless, and the chicken balls were mostly batter with barely any chicken.

Food tasted like it was cooked in old grease terrible meal and is overpriced I will not be back!

Very disappointed on the combo plates for supper.. you’d think you would get more than a cup of rice and 4 chicken balls considering KAO gives way more, Especially for supper time! This to me was like a kids meal.. service was good waitress was super nice when I picked up the order!

This place only gets two stars because the server I had was so lovely. The food was awful. Cold/greasy with a very monochromatic palate. Interior is dated, but I honestly don’t care if the food is good - sadly, that was not the case. 29.99 for the buffet in the evening was wild - poor selection, poorly prepared foods. Everything was under a heat lamp, but yet still cold? Seems like a health concern to me.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We did the lunch buffet and we're happy to see full, fresh and delicious food. We have had good a experience here and recommend it for lunch 😀

The restaurant is in need of a face lift and is over priced. The waitress has been there for a long while and knows her stuff. She was very nice and pleasant.

We have been there atleast 6 times in the last 6 months. Today was the last time for a long while, if not, forever. The waitress was asking to take our plates just as we finished the last bite, we were having a conversation and she kept asking for things...like, the plates, the drinks, then asked if she could take our cutlery, and asked if we were done... We didn't even have dessert yet as we were just having a conversation and not getting back up right away. It was still 30mins til closing, and new people were walking in, so it isn't that she needed us to leave. Either way, she rushed us, we didn't get what we paid for and she really could not read a room, or pickup the hints. Everytime she came over, we seemed agitated and had to stop our very important conversation to tend to get relentless questions and never ending interruptions. We have never been treated so poorly at DD New Minas.

I had to select one because zero is not an option if you want to make a review.The only reason we went to Double Dragon was because KAO was not open today. It was the worst chinese meal I ever had at DD. I had been there years ago and the food was bad. It has not changed. The chicken balls had wet uncooked dough inside and tiny piece of chicken. All dishes were cold or room temperature. There was chewy hard battered chicken on some dishes, the beef was rubbery, the wings were so hard it seemed like they were recooked numerous times. The vegetables were hard, runny plum sauce and the red sauce was congealed ...no flavor. All of the food tasted like it was made two weeks ago and re served several times. I thought great at least they have ice cream...can' t mess up ice cream. Ummmmm. The ice cream was crystalized. It had been thawed and refrozen multiple times making it luke gravel texture.. The chocolate was a strange color and the vanilla did not taste right. The chocolate fountain was not running but sitting with pools of chocolate stuck on it. Please know our waitress was lovely! That was the only positive part of the experience. This was supposed to be a special outing/ celebration. We spent $30 per person to sit around with bad stomach all evening. We tried to eat the ice cream because there was a sign that said you pay extra if you do not eat your food...we could not finish it.
I stopped to politely speak with our kind waitress about our experience.
There were many dishes offered but quality over quantity may be a better plan. If it is possible to cook fresh , hot food there.
