I live in BC I have had friends bring me scallops (frozen) from home (shelburne) 2 times now they have brought me several bags from 2 places, one was Mr Fish. Both times I immediately knew which ones came from Mr Fish because they tasted so much better!

Mr. Fish offers a variety of delicious dishes, but the fish tacos are a standout, with a tasty special sauce. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. Despite not having reservations, the wait time was short. The fish and chips are a must-try, cooked perfectly with a generous portion of fish, and served on separate plates to keep the gravy from making the fish soggy. The lobster poutine is creamy, cheesy, and loaded with lobster meat, while the special haddock with lobster cream sauce over mashed potatoes is highly recommended. The place is clean, and the service is genuine, with fry-ups done really well. Guests also enjoy the variety of pies and the fish market with tuna and swordfish steaks, cod cheeks, and more. The restaurant is a great spot for a satisfying meal, and many visitors look forward to returning.
Recently, diners praised the haddock, noting it was caught fresh locally and lightly breaded, making it a must-try. The option to have seafood battered or pan-seared (gluten-free and healthier) was appreciated, along with the beautiful salad with just enough lobster. The seafood chowder was described as light and tasty. Visitors also mentioned that the quality, service, and variety were amazing, and many felt the seafood tasted much better than frozen scallops from elsewhere. Despite limited dine-in and parking space, guests found the experience worthwhile and plan to return.
