We stopped in on a local recommendation for bread. We didn't actually buy any bread because we were searching for European style, crunchy oval breads. All the breads regardless of rye, multigrain, sourdough, etc., were all square and very soft. We did decide to stay for a quick lunch. The haddock chowder was quite good and we left with some dessert bars. Friendly service and the front windows offer a nice water view.
What a fantastic spot! Wonderful selection of baked goods, along with soups, chowders, beans, casseroles, etc. Best part is the all-day breakfast and friendly staff- we were very Happy Campers!

Adorable local bakery and small cafe. Tried the corn meal muffins, molasses & raisin cookies, and the cheddar and broccoli soup and holy moly was it ever delicious!! They have a small variety of homemade soups, pot pies, sandwiches, etc in the fridges ready to go. Definitely coming back to grab some more baked goods and soups this week. Highly recommend!!
