“easily one of the best coffees I've ever had, insisted we make time on the other side of a stay in Lunenburg to hit it again. Canadiano was toptier. plus it's on the Mahone Bay Faerie Trail Walk, which is also a treat, kid loved it, honestly I loved it. Great place”

“Fantastic restaurant! Everything is gluten-free, and everything is absolutely delicious. The owner/chef is very talented, and the menu is small but it has something for everyone and it's always divine. We had come of the best pan-seared cod here - simple but somehow it was incredible. This is one of our favourite places in Lunenburg not only for the food but the cocktails are great too. ;)”

“I love this place and go here all the time! It’s always amazing food and most of the time there is great service. Went in today and this girl named Sheri was very rude to me and my friends. She was full of complaints and sighs whenever we took our orders. We got to go and she kept giving us looks whenever she passed us, and she kept giving us snarky remarks.

On the other hand, Christina was AMAZING! Helped us take our orders, was very pleasant and extremely polite. I love this place but Sheri’s service was so bad I don’t know if I would give them my business anytime soon, and I’ll be leaving if I see Sheri there again.”

Atmosphere was very relaxed, our meals were incredible (especially considering our party of 4 included one celiac and one vegetarian) cocktails were yummy - overall simply a truly enjoyable evening. “Nothing makes you feel young again like sitting by the water and eating ice cream! There were lots of flavours to select from and the staff was friendly and very pleasant. We stopped here twice on our trip through the area.”

“We decided to visit the island on a whim today with our kids and didn’t bring enough food, so we started feeling a bit anxious on the ferry. Luckily, as we walked up the hill, the little shop happened to be just opening—perfect timing!

We ordered burgers, fries, and homemade ice tea—and wow, everything was way better than we expected! It wasn’t just because we were hungry; you could really taste the care and heart that Patrick put into preparing the food.

We also got some ice cream, and Patrick even gave a small souvenir to each of our kids. It was such a kind gesture, and the whole experience turned into a beautiful family memory.

Honestly, we might come back to the island just for Patrick’s handmade tea or those amazing burgers. Highly recommend!”

“I was just in Lunenberg for the day, I stopped by for a quick lunch and coffee. The service was great, quick and friendly. My sausage on a bun had fresh sauteed peppers and onions that were great not overcooked to mush... the decaf coffee was hot and fresh. The carrot cake was nice and moist with just enough icing on it.I definitely will go back on my next trip to Lunenberg!!!”
