“My husband and I got married at Lightfoot & Wolfville on September 6, 2025. They’ve thought of everything! This really felt like the closest thing to “all inclusive” - food, bartending, chairs, place settings are all part of the booking here. You can choose to upgrade things like chairs or place settings, but I had no desire to be worrying about those kind of decisions and what they have is very tasteful already. There is a solid backup plan if you have to make any changes related to weather. Your guests can leave their cars overnight and pick them up in the morning. The venue is stunning, so you don’t even need to add much in the way of decor or florals. The menu tasting was so much fun - but be sure to pace yourself, because there is A LOT of food!! We had our ceremony outside, dinner downstairs in the barrel cellar, and the reception upstairs in the bar and lobby area (the outdoor tent is unavailable after Labour Day weekend). Kori Lightfoot is the primary contact for weddings and she is a dream to work with. So responsive and accommodating. Kori and her team go above and beyond to make your day incredibly special. The food is INCREDIBLE!! Our guests raved about it and have continued to make comments about it in the weeks following.“

“I stayed in wolfville for few days and i tried this local restaurant,i have to say that it was Absolutely incredible! The garlic fingers were perfectly crispy on the edges, soft in the center, and loaded with just the right amount of garlic, cheese, and herbs. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. Paired with the dipping sauce, it was nothing short of perfection. These are hands down the best garlic fingers I've ever had – highly recommend!“

“What an awesome day for a drive for the First Monday in April 2023. Sunshine, the the forest bones of winter shaking off the cold. Trip from Halifax to New Minas to Big Mike Pizza. Definitely worth the drive. Definitely our favourite pizza.“
