Wine Bars near Wolfville

“Saw some of the menu pics online for this hidden Wolfville spot and was eager to try. (Scallops, sausage and risotto!) Unfortunately they have actually gone to simply a lunch spot due to time for family (totally respect that!) and only offer daytime service and specifically lunch/sandwich items. But a few of the early reviews also mention the chicken sandwich being heavenly so this and a Jarritos Mandarin was the order of choice. (Companion had a Fish Sandwich and diet coke!) Glowing reviews were right about the Sandwich. Chicken was fried to perfection with a soft bun and perfect amount of slaw and sauce to make it tasty. (Got mild but you can go spicy if desired!) Put's the Popeye's Spicy Chicken Sandwich to shame! Had a bite of the Fish Sandwich as well and it was also a notably delicious choice. All in all since their lunch fare was so good would have loved to try those dinner items, but family coming first for them is apparently just like their great food - a sign of care and excellence. “The wine garden was amazing, beautiful view of the vineyard and bay (although trees are a bit tall to see it all), and service was quick and easy with a quick scan of a QR code and ordering your choice. wine flights were all amazing and the servers could answer any questions on the wine you had and were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience that much better. Had a few appetizers which were very artisanal, which definitely prioritizes quality and craftsmanship over quantity as it’s definitely just a taster. of the appetizers the lobster dip wasn’t very “lobstery” and the chives overpowered the rest of the dish.“

“To start the service is excellent, I came to my reservation with a broken foot and they were more than accommodating towards me. Everyone in the front is very kind and helpful, if you ask for recommendations they’re more than willing to help you out.

Food was amazing, we left stuffed to the brim and sad we weren’t able to fit in dessert. Wine selection is excellent, and our server was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations to our specific requests for wine.

Overall very hospitable staff throughout the restaurant, and the views of the orchard are amazing.“
